free yourself from the matrix breh, once you do life'll be :blessed:

Free myself from what?? I rarely go on Facebook. I just have it to hit people up if I want. Mostly for business transactions because I know a lot of people from college or high school that live in different places and do different things and I can hit them up and ask them for something. Facebook isn't apart of my daily life anymore and having an account on one fukking site doesn't change my daily life or "happiness".

I keep my Facebook account for networking purposes (serious, no Desirous)

I don't post pictures of myself or statuses, so my page is empty outside of my profile picture, but what I'll do is dish out a couple of likes on some people's accomplishments (new job, married, kids, something else major, etc.). It's a cool way of letting people know you still mess with them/are thinking of them, and they often hit me up as a result of that :yeshrug: To be clear though, I'm not out there liking selfies or other trash like that :camby:

I really dislike social media, but one of the 48 Laws that really applies here : "Think as you like, but behave like others"

I get why folks use fb and even why some are addicted to it, I was never a big fan of the site because I'm a private person so it gets old when folks take it personal that you don't/won't over share your life the way they do.

Watching people I wasn't expecting it from expose themselves during the Mike Brown tragedy and the ones that followed was enough for me to kick fb to the curb as anything other than networking if I ever reactivate it

People who need to get at me know how to, those who don't don't need to.

Between the coli and Twitter I have my entertainment, sports shyt talking etc covered.

needed a thread for us all to congregate :blessed:

i been without mine for almost a month, i just quit my job about 2 weeks ago and was extremely tempted to bring it back cause i lost touch with quite a few people who would be too awkward to text, but its cool you gotta let go of certain people to move forward

i decided to delete mine mainly because the cats who first put me on FB back whe nit was invite only are all off there now, plus that shyt is a stagnant cess pool of filth now :scusthov:

inb4 "b b b but the coli is social media too" except for the fact the coli is way more entertaining than FB and way less personal, i've spent my time away from the coli as well cause too much of anything is bad imo
I tried a Facebook account one time in like 2010...and back then I didn't like how I was getting friend invites from people I knew from elementary school...:yeshrug:that was more than enough sign I didn't need to be on there (FB)...I felt it made me way to accessible to any and everybody...and the beefs that jump off are proof it's too many adults in each other's personal mix on that site:dame:

In the Silver Lining
Up to 500 "friends", some I barely remember or know...:dead: I don't talk alot about myself up there, but i'll like people's accomplishments, even if ts just a trip to a restaurant with their wife. I'm private, but its good to see folks from my past grown, and trying to do grownup things. Just not ready to share my shhit like that. I know folks that use their wife as their FB conduit.
