Rush is purely a rotational guy- they prolly gonna have him drop a few pounds. Its Young, the really tall guy from Iowa but not alot of stand out players- of course there is alway someone under the radar- I will probably start checking out soon. After Sidney Jones I would be cool on red flags to but if he declares and falls a little in the draft and you draft a solid safety already- I would draft him to because he is that talented. Soon you will need 2 safeties- why not take 2 if they are there. I see you are sleeping on the FCS guy- trust me- after he plays in the Senior Bowl, his name will pop up alot more
I'm not necessarily sleeping on the FCS guy, I just am thinking about the first 2 rounds right now and where we can get some impact. When it comes to 3rd round a beyond, you are more and more in the crapshoot territory. If the FCS safety is a legit prospect for the first two rounds, and he can come in immediately and not only be the 3rd safety for Schwartz, he can also legitimately be the next starter, I'm all for it. If he is just a backup and ST guy, nah, I'm sleep lol.
This off-season, the team and the fan base can lie to each other about what we need and what we don't. So focusing on impact if its there, has to be the move. Once I get a handle on who can/should be there and who I want/will settle for with the first two picks, then I'll look at the depth of the draft. So i'll be paying attention to who you highlight.
