If you believe in him, I'll throw my hands up and give you that. I don't see it at this level and don't believe it moving forward. But receivers have always been one of the hardest positions for me to judge.

What I've heard about him, as his main redeeming quality at the position, is that he is great at winning contested throws. That translates to the red zone obviously. So he got two + marks on him for the same skill. I don't know if there was a single instance of that shyt shown all season. Memory may be fukked right now but what did he show us? Preseason notwithstanding because preseason makes stars out of tons of guys who don't belong in the league.

I'm still waiting on Abiamiri and McDougle to make an impact in the regular season. :hhh:

He couldnt get on the field cause of something he was doing in Practice. Remember we were all calling for him with Nelson fukking up and Mack Hollins being a complete nonfactor.

Then we saw JJ get his shot, he was making rookie receiver mistakes running routes. Then we were like I kinda see why they didnt have him out there.

He has made some tough catches this season. I recall a few. He can be a volume catcher in this scheme but he gotta learn how to get open.

He is a smart guy so we will see next season. I guarantee Alshon or DeSean wont play a full 16 games again so he will get another shot.

Philly born. PG raised
Respectable season all in all. We dropped 3 games on bullshyt dropped passes. Crazy how that’s been our M.O. dating back to Alshon last year in the playoffs. Miles dropped one today too smh.

We need to focus on DBs and WRs during the off-season and we’ll be right back in the mix next year.

To be fair to all fans, we were calling for ANYONE to replace Agholor. :pachaha:

But given JJ's draft position and the way our receiving corps look, he will get another look to show and prove. I sincerely hope he can. I'm not one of those fans that wants to be right more than I want the team to succeed. So if he can become an impact player or even just a reliable 3rd option, I'll take it. But what he is as of 1/5/20.... he isn't worth the roster spot.

We could get away with Djax for the next two seasons though, right? He is only 33 or 34 and still one of the fastest at his position. I personally would invest in a later round project this season, if we can't get a premier prospect.

I'd love to get another DE or a LB that can rush the passer. If we keep gym shorts, which, lets be real... we are. We need to make sure he has the ammo to make his defense hum.

So I want most the same, with one of the 3/4 premier receivers OR (and I need your help on this one) one of the premier 4-3 ends available as the top pick. Beyond that, give me a potential starter on the OL, a safety who can make the 3 safety package that gym shorts loves not look stupid, unfortunately a 4th-7th round QB prospect, a run stopping DT since I believe Timmy and Malik alongside Cox are way more than enough moving forward.

As far as CB, I'd rather trade. They say safety and CB are two of the hardest positions to master. And it takes a ton of experience for both, moreso for safety. I just don't know if we have the right coaches to justify a high pick at CB unless that pick was already a stud in his own right.

Jernigan is a free agent and he was decent but I would only bring him back if the money is right....chances are he will want too much money. Malik is getting long in the tooth plus he is not a good run stuffing DT. Anthony Rush - the DT we have has shown alot of promise and will be on the team next year, they need a youngin who can rush the passer- insert Justin Madubuike from Texas AM.

DJax money is guaranteed so he will be back. I dont think there is much top tier DE talent in this draft. The problem with trading is you have to keep giving away draft stock. There are a few good safeties in this draft- there is no reason they cant find someone who can fit. shyt Chauncey Gardner (who I wanted us to draft) looked pretty good for New Orleans today and through the season.
If they want a solid all around safety- draft Antione Winfield Jr from Minn (he has some medical red flags but was really really good this season). Under the radar safety Jeremy Chinn from Southern ILL (FCS) or Ashytn Davis- more free safety- crazy athletic from Cal

I forgot they only gave Timmy a 1 year deal. That back issue must have been really concerning. Seems he is ok though and he made the loss of Malik not hurt as much once he got his legs under him from what I saw. I never could gauge how much someone is worth, but I can't imagine Timmy demanding more than 6 per and probably getting 4.5 per. I'd be OK with that. I didn't get a chance to see much of Rush, mainly because I missed most of the season being on the road with no wifi. He looks ready to start opposite Cox or remain a rotational guy?

So with DE, its Young and everyone else? No one in that mid to late 20s that is worth the look? I'm all the way cool on red flags for DBs for the foreseeable future. I'm going to look at that Cal safety since he has no medical red flags and is athletic.

The bold deserves every fantasia smiley possible. Howie is the reason. :pachaha:

Really hope Peters retires too.

Hard to imagine him making and playing well through another season

I'd hate to see him cut or moved from the team, but if he wants to get a couple more years of paycheques I can't blame him.

Rush is purely a rotational guy- they prolly gonna have him drop a few pounds. Its Young, the really tall guy from Iowa but not alot of stand out players- of course there is alway someone under the radar- I will probably start checking out soon. After Sidney Jones I would be cool on red flags to but if he declares and falls a little in the draft and you draft a solid safety already- I would draft him to because he is that talented. Soon you will need 2 safeties- why not take 2 if they are there. I see you are sleeping on the FCS guy- trust me- after he plays in the Senior Bowl, his name will pop up alot more

Offseason wishlist

First round draft a WR
2nd round draft a Safety
Every other pick needs to bolster the defense

I would love for us to sign Byron Jones and Kenny Jones (DT from Packers).

Players I want gone: Alshon, Agholor, Peters, Jalen Mills, Darby, Jenkins, and McLeod

I'm fine going into next season with Ward, Desean, JJ and a first round draft pick at WR

I'd let Jim Schwartz go & go after George Edwards from the Vikings. Give him full control of the defense.

Although I dapped this, I can't agree with Byron Jones because he will demand too much money for production that is not worth it. Also without having good replacements for safety, getting rid of both starters seems like overkill.
