Rush is purely a rotational guy- they prolly gonna have him drop a few pounds. Its Young, the really tall guy from Iowa but not alot of stand out players- of course there is alway someone under the radar- I will probably start checking out soon. After Sidney Jones I would be cool on red flags to but if he declares and falls a little in the draft and you draft a solid safety already- I would draft him to because he is that talented. Soon you will need 2 safeties- why not take 2 if they are there. I see you are sleeping on the FCS guy- trust me- after he plays in the Senior Bowl, his name will pop up alot more
Let’s not forget about ridgeway. He surprised people and was thought of highly before the injury. I think they will ride with him and maybe resign Timmy. That is one area they may be able to depend on their old people since there are so many areas to address.

Eagles' got draft pick no. 21 in April.

I wonder who is the new Nelson Agholor or Danny Watkins or Marcus Smith they gonna select at that spot. :scust: Jury still out on Andre Dillard.

I hope they trade up or trade back because their drafting in the 20s has been :trash:.

Outside coverage is clearly the number 1 concern on defense to me but another area we can upgrade that will pay dividends is the linebacker and box safety(the Jenkins role) positions. Ron Rivera will run the ball, Saquon is nice and is probably gonna get some O-line help and I'm gonna assume that whoever the Cowboys get isn't gonna be completely retarded and use the Zeke/Pollard duo.

Are there any guys that will be available in the mid to late rounds that will help us there?

Just for fun… the Eagles draft picks in the 20s-30s (since 2001):

- Freddie Mitchell, WR, #25 (2001)
- Lito Sheppard, DB, #26 (2002)
- Mike Patterson, DT, #31 (2005)
- Danny Watkins, G, #23 (2011)
- Marcus Smith, LB, #26 (2014)
- Nelson Agholor, WR, #20 (2015)
- Andre Dillard, OT, #22 (2019)

It’s not great… Sheppard and Patterson weren’t bad, the jury is still out on Dillard, and you can’t blame the current FO for Agholor since that was Chip Kelly’s draft. So that leaves three big misses (Mitchell, Watkins, and Smith) out of six.

Also, worth making a distinction between when Howie was running the draft and when Reid was. Howie takes responsibility for 2011, 2014, and 2019. Reid takes 2001, 2002, and 2005. Kelly has 2015.

:scust: at that list.

Only noteworthy names there is Lito and maybe Agholor ( but just based on 2017-2018 season).

Howie not responsible for either of them too :scusthov:

Nah, not Agholor. One decent season where he was, at best, the offense’s third target (behind Ertz and Alshon) on a stacked offense doesn’t erase the other four where he’s been mediocre-to-terrible. So much potential wasted… :mjcry:

You maybe could add Maclin, drafted #19 in 2009, to this list too. He was at least solid during his time in Philly and was actually a WR1. You probably want more out of a 1st Round pick, but given the other two receivers the Eagles have taken, well… :francis:

If the eagles draft a safety, the probably wont draft a pure box safety. They would want someone who can play box and free....mid round guys would be the guys I mentioned earlier - Antione Winfield and Jeremy Chin. Desmond Franklin maybe another guy who can makes sense from appalachain state...dark horse name is kyle duggar- he is a division 2 safety who looks like a man vs boys. he will play in the senior bowl- wanna see how he plays vs real comp

Linebacker- one name in the 3/4 round who would make alot of sense is jacob phillips from LSU- also Jabril Cox from North Dakota State- not sure if he declared yet but he is a very good coverage LB

Josina just saying what alot of people are saying bout Wentz its always something . he is turning into the new Andrew luck , its always what he can do or he woulda did this, fact is he ain't done shyt yet .

It's frustrating aS fukk to see Lamar jackson out here balln the fukkk out. Pat mahomes dislocated knee cap . dak with the shoulder. Guess what they was there playing win or lose at the end of the day.

Nobody is talkin about that he can't make it through a season in 5 years . we want WRs and secondary blah blah how bout Wentz make through a year. That ain't just good enough either we expect u to play good . the boy is who he is at this point injury prone.

Linebackers gotta be a concern too

Kamu a free agent (played with a hurt back this year)
Gerry horrible
Bradham the team has a option

I dont get it, you wanted Wentz to play concussed. It's a head injury, u can play with it but all u gonna do is hurt the team and potentially do long term neurological damage to yourself.
Plus Mahomes didnt play with a dislocated knee cap :mjtf: and Dak is still azz cheeks :dwillhuh:. Lamar had a quad injury, which he played through. You cant compare a quad injury to a brain injury :what:.

And Josina is a journalist lookin for sensational stories but it was an inappropriate comment at that time from her and especially Torry who played the game but you see he deleted the tweet.

I was wrong too because I was giving Wentz shyt for not QB sliding but it was a quick bang bang play mixed with terrible luck.

Clowney leading with the helmet should have been flagged and 8/10 times, Clowney doesnt connect flush like that to Wentz's head causing his head to ricochet on the ground. Anybody would have been concussed on that dirty play.

Whether u like him or not, we can admit he has had alot of bad luck. Just like Andrew had bad Luck :troll:.

Damn man, we get it, u dont like Wentz

But Wentz has shown alot of character this year and improvements. I have seen him check it down alot more finally during that four game winning streak (which the anonymous source this year was criticizing him about) and this season, u had guys fighting for him because he was leading them and he came through clutch finally.

This playoff appearance was very unlikely given the injuries and miscues but the defense played much better and Wentz cam through in that four game stretch along with unlikely guys stepping up.

If this season didnt earn him some respect with you then I dont think nothing will short of a superbowl win.:manny:but as we all know, it's not easy winning it all in the NFL. It's about the right team and luck to win it all. I remind you so much fukkery took place in that Atlanta Falcons divisional playoff game that we could have easily lost that game on a few plays during the superbowl year.

Wentz may never play in a superbowl but this season showed me he has the capability to lead a team in the playoffs and with the right team around him and luck, he could win it all. That's all u can ask for.

I can say I have more faith in Wentz to lead this team to a second superbowl than I had in the beginning of this season.:manny:

Wentz leads a broken team into the playoffs with one of the league’s poorest receiving units (and that was before they all got hurt), wins four straight divisional games, and throws for 4,000 yards despite no receiver getting any more than 500. But this guy decides to talk up a QB who couldn’t win the worst division in football with three Pro Bowl offensive linemen, two 1,000-yard receivers, and a 1,000-yard rusher - most of whom were healthy this season. You can’t make this shyt up. :mjlol:

Wentz isn't a perfect QB and will never be one, we can all admit that, he has his flaws. But every single take I've read from that poster reads as if Skip Bayless randomly decided to join the Coli and pretend to be an Eagles fan. Everything is Wentz's fault to him. Receivers can't catch, can't separate, and can't make any kind of play on their own? Wentz's fault. Corners give up big play after big play? Wentz's fault. Clowney spears Wentz in the back of the head, despite Wentz having already given himself up? Wentz's fault.
