I am just mad so im irrational but I kinda want he gone....money doesnt show any ability..maybe he needs to get stronger or get a route running coach ..I know most WR need 3 years but damn he looks so bad

Oh shyt, don't get me twisted. I don't give a shyt what happens to him. I'm here after a playoff loss, hoping our 2nd round receiver ends up like our 4th round unspectacular receiver from years past.:mjcry:

If the team wanted to just cut him out right, I wouldn't bat an eye.

i was one of the advocates rooting for us losing out, until the comeback in the first giants game. but honestly, winning out EVEN with wentz getting injured today was the right move. we can talk about the nfc east being hot garbage and what not, but those were all high pressure (win or we're done) games that wentz never really played in his career before prior to. who knows what the morale of the team and locker room would be had we lost all those games... shyt couldve got ugly, especially for wentz.

:ehh:

Level headed perspective. With the way you put it, if the rest of the team looks at it that way, then yea... it truly was worth it.

I still believe JJ can be that Jason Avant type receiver. Sure handed, unspectacular, run blocking proficient and 3rd down blanket. 2nd round isn't where you find those guys, but we here now. He has no choice but be at least that or get the fukk outta Philly.

He better than that.

I mean, he did show flashes in the preseason.

He does need to work on his route running especially in this offensive scheme that is really based on timing and understanding soft spots in coverage to get open. Wentz is not going to throw those 50-50 balls.

If he is for real, he gotta work with Greg Ward as well as Ertz and with Carson in the off season to understand route concepts and opposing zone coverages.

If you believe in him, I'll throw my hands up and give you that. I don't see it at this level and don't believe it moving forward. But receivers have always been one of the hardest positions for me to judge.

What I've heard about him, as his main redeeming quality at the position, is that he is great at winning contested throws. That translates to the red zone obviously. So he got two + marks on him for the same skill. I don't know if there was a single instance of that shyt shown all season. Memory may be fukked right now but what did he show us? Preseason notwithstanding because preseason makes stars out of tons of guys who don't belong in the league.

I'm still waiting on Abiamiri and McDougle to make an impact in the regular season. :hhh:

Eagles better look at bringing in Teddy Bridge to “ Wake Up All The People “ & “ Make A New Day “:sas1:

Have Josh McCown as your back up QB in the playoffs when half your team is on IR brehs:mjlol:

Off-season needs to be about stocking the depth chart imo.

DT, safety, WR and some interior lineman would be my early round priorities

I'm not so big on drafting a corner early. I feel like its just gonna be a similar level guy to what we have and we already have a lot of young guys there.

I'd be happy with a legit starting level cb in free agency but I doubt they do that

This is a very deep CB and WR draft...there aren't many speed WR but there is always someone who has a fast 40 that we didnt realize has that kinda speed
I agree that we need CB help but I wouldn't go CB in the first 2 rounds.
We really need another YOUNG DT to line up next to Fletch and a YOUNG safety
There are some solid OG if you think Isaac should play center.

We could get away with Djax for the next two seasons though, right? He is only 33 or 34 and still one of the fastest at his position. I personally would invest in a later round project this season, if we can't get a premier prospect.

I'd love to get another DE or a LB that can rush the passer. If we keep gym shorts, which, lets be real... we are. We need to make sure he has the ammo to make his defense hum.

So I want most the same, with one of the 3/4 premier receivers OR (and I need your help on this one) one of the premier 4-3 ends available as the top pick. Beyond that, give me a potential starter on the OL, a safety who can make the 3 safety package that gym shorts loves not look stupid, unfortunately a 4th-7th round QB prospect, a run stopping DT since I believe Timmy and Malik alongside Cox are way more than enough moving forward.

As far as CB, I'd rather trade. They say safety and CB are two of the hardest positions to master. And it takes a ton of experience for both, moreso for safety. I just don't know if we have the right coaches to justify a high pick at CB unless that pick was already a stud in his own right.

In Deonte Burnett's interview on Eagles 360 he said that in order to play with Wentz you need to have speed. A simple observation from a dude who was once on the practice squad.

Howie has to do better about that in the offseason. I hope we are finally done with these slow ass receivers who cant separate.

Eagles 360 is produced by the official site? If not, post it if you can.
