Now when the switch 2 is officially announced and ALL of its games are also announced for switch one. The internet cacs will rage about how that’s a departure from nintendo’s norm and yall will be all on board with what they say, despite arguing with me for years about the direction we ultimately ended up going in.

The video didn’t go too much into nintendo as nintendo isn’t usually viewed as the same “market”

Some people here tried to use nintendo to debunk the video.

I posted the reality that nintendo has not been immune to the changes in the industry either.

We did. As long as they make consoles, Nintendo and Sony will release games exclusive to their consoles. It's how they sell consoles.

Nintendo has shifted their entire handheld software business to non-nintendo platforms.

Nintendo console games are no longer exclusive to one piece of hardware.

They may not be going PC (yet)but their business is shifting away from “exclusives” as well.

BRB gonna boot up Tears of the Kingdom on a non-Nintendo platform. Opps, turns out it's a Nintendo platform exclusive.
