Then why say stuff like this?

You trying to have it both ways.

When it comes to xbox some how they are the same market.

When it comes to playstation, “obviously it’s a different market”

:stopitslime:

Like i said yall playing loose with definitions and goalposts in order to keep up with your stan narratives.

Reality is, “exclusives” are dying and some of you will have to find new and inventive ways to stan your favorite console
Saying "Nothing has exclusives" while ignoring time is basically to say that SNES or any older console has no exclusives because years later it eventually got ported to another console. "Why y'all bigging up the Dreamcast for? It has no exclusives! Sonic Adventure is on Gamecube"
*ignores it came out 5 years later*

:hhh:

Man, you need to work on your reading comprehension.

Let me put this in a way you might understand.

Markets
  • PC - No real competition. They usually target the highest-end graphics, or people that want to play games and also have more utility out of their investment through everything else a PC can do.

  • GOATendo Switch - Hybrid gaming with Nintendo Exclusives, it can be argued that the Steam Deck wants in on this niche through emulators and PC games, but they're sure as hell not competing with the rest. Completely different demographic, gameplay > graphics.

  • Playstation/Xbox - Directly compete with each other over the average, casual gamer that just wants to boot up a console after work/school and play some games. Similar price tag, online services, game prices, but there are differences when it comes to things like Game Pass and certain games not making it to the other console (What we call "exclusives")
The term "exclusives" lost a bit of its meaning now that former exclusives like GoW and Spiderman got ported to PC, meaning it pretty much has all the major games out of both Sony and Xbox. (Nintendo's games are supposed to be true exclusives, but lol emulation)

However, the term still applies between consoles, as franchises like Halo aren't available for PS and Nintendo, Zelda isn't available for Xbox and PS, and GoW isn't available for Xbox and Nintendo.

Better? :comeon:

“timed exclusive” is a thing. And it used to “not count” when it came to talking about consoles.

Now you have to stan time because games just don’t stay exclusive anymore. :mjlol:

In the context of Nintendo. Their consoles have ALWAYS had some exclusive feature or upgrade that justified the need to purchase new hardware, and the games were exclusive to their respective consoles(until much later with remasters)

In 2025 nintendo is putting their handheld games on iphones and are launching a new console that will more than likely share the exact same library with their old console.

So no they can’t be used as an example of “exclusives” still being a thing because they’ve had to drastically change their practices as well.

I can read You’re the one that said this.
Imagine having a whole PC and saying "You know what I need? An Xbox." :troll:
Which makes no sense if the markets are separate as you stated above :manny:

I personally disagree with separating the markets like you are here. People like to play their games across all types of different devices.

The only reason to split the markets up like you did here is to preserve some semblance of the console wars that drove gaming for 30 years.

Today that stuff just doesn’t matter to the overwhelming majority of gamers.

I’m not the one trying to redefine what “exclusive” means. That’s you goofies.

In your last post you just explained why we have to stan “time” now cause games just aren’t “exclusive” anymore :mjlol:

Right in the quote you posted he says
The term "exclusives" lost a bit of its meaning

But i’m the one trying to change the meaning of shyt :mjlol:

“timed exclusive” is a thing. And it used to “not count” when it came to talking about consoles.
Timed exclusives were announced as exactly that with a release date on other platforms known from the getgo or even before it launched.
Timed exclusive=Indiana Jones, we know when it's coming to PS5

Everything else isn't the same according to what you just said here because no PS5 exclusive is dropping on another console.

Even if you want to play semantics and say "But PC though", they still aren't known when they will come to PC on Sony's side. When is Ghosts of Yotei coming to PC? When is Astro Bot coming to PC? When is Intergalactic coming to PC? What about Wolverine? What about Demon Souls Remake? What about Gran Turismo 7? We can only speculate that it'll come to PC maybe at the earliest 1yr+change or longer based on existing releases.

Nintendo has not released a single one of their "handheld games" or any of their exclusives such as anything from the Switch, DS, Wii U, Wii, GC or older on any other platform.:stopitslime:

Sure. And according to yall that doesn’t “count” as an exclusive for xbox.

But somehow. Now those types games are “exclusive” if you wanna stan a different console :patrice:

So we stanning “unknown time” now :mjlol:

We’ve gone all the way from “exclusive” to i don’t know exactly when it will come to another platform therefore it’s exclusive.

And you said it’s me trying to change definitions :mjlol:

Nintendo doesn’t have a current handheld. Their smaller games that would be on a handheld are now on IOS.

Nonsense. Pokemon Go, Mario Kart Tour, Animal Crossing Pocket or w/e is nowhere near as in depth or as any of their games even Gameboy advance.

Fatboi used to go on and on about “true exclusives”
The next true exclusive game coming out soon is Infamous,
He valued the idea that playstation games were NEVER coming to pc.
The point you're still trying to ignore is the MAJORITY of PS exclusives ARE NOT on PC or are coming to PC

Now we stanning Time, and uncertainty :mjlol:

They make games tailored to the hardware as they’ve always done for handheld stuff.

They killed an entire market and have to keep releasing all their software across generations.

This is unprecedented for nintendo, but Sony and Microsoft have moved so far away from how the market used to work it makes nintendos moves stand out less.

In reality in 2025 exclusive content just isn’t worth it anymore :manny:

A Switch is a console and is a handheld. Technology got better. It's a hybrid. It can work as a console just as it can work as a handheld. That's like saying the PS5 was killed because now you can play it remotely so therefore the console market is dead.
