A Switch is a console and is a handheld. Technology got better. It's a hybrid. It can work as a console just as it can work as a handheld. That's like saying the PS5 was killed because now you can play it remotely so therefore the console market is dead.

Nintendo sold 101+ million Wii consoles and 150+ million DS consoles.

Switch will probably top out at about 150 total.

You can argue over the semantics of it but they killed and entire 100 million console market in order for the switch to be successful.

Yeah, a generation ago nobody would've saw Playstation games being ported to PC. Things changed
They're still different from Xbox bussin it wide open day 1 for PC AND now dropping it directly on their opps platform

Goalpost hasn't really changed though, the same reasons we said we like Playstation and why we want it still applies. I got my PS5 this generation to play must play exclusives when they come out. Them coming to PC years later didn't change anything. When I purchased Rebirth, Spider-Man 2, Horizon Forbidden West, Ratchet and Clank, Demon' Souls, TLOU 2, Ghosts etc., they were exclusive during that time period and nobody knew when it was coming to PC nor would we wait. It's not like it's coming to PC 2 weeks later. GTA VI is coming to PC most likely next year or so, but I'm not waiting even though I'll have a top of the line GPU.

God of War or Spider-Man coming to PC a few years later didn't matter. When the game comes out I'm buying it. Even if I waited 6 months and had a capable PC, those games still weren't available anywhere else.

Even if I bought a PS5 literally today, I'd still have exclusives that are worth buying out now and coming out later.

If I went to the movies to watch something in Imax and enjoyed that exclusive experience, some dude who then watched it on a streaming service months later can't be like "You dummy that wasn't an exclusive it's out on Bluray now."

When I watched it, it wasn't anywhere else.

Those Xbox games are not "coming" to PC, they ARE on PC DAY uno and on top of that, there are barely any new ones coming
Timed is referring to a game that's coming to another console at a later date such as Indiana Jones or w/e else.

No, there was a transistion between some games coming later, some day one, etc. Just like Sony is now
