Hammering Hank Armstrong did in 10 months what took Loma 5 years. None of that multiple belts per division or junior/super stuff. There were 8 divisions and one world champion per division. He held three of the belts simultaneously and is the only boxer to ever do it.

Henry Armstrong needed 7 years, 1 month (108 professional fights) in order to accomplish that feat...Loma needed 12 fights.

Loma needed his flurry that Linares just took for whatever reason. Linares was putting serious hands on him.

Key to fighting Loma is establishing and consistently using the jab. If linares jabbed 15% more he would have never got in the position to get KO'd.

Honestly apart from the knockdown I don’t see this fight that much different from other LOMa fights.

Linares was just much bigger so he had some success compared to the others.

Plus we are so used to LOMa domminating that any type of succes from the opp can look bigger than it is.
