spence is a very good fighter, but hes not as far ahead of da pack as i orginally thought.
im curious to see how he does against a thurman.

this is why imo Bud still has the edge over him at this time. Spence still getting better but the boxing, movement, and jab of Bud will obviously give him a lot of trouble. Thurman is about to be gatekeeper status. his run is over. Spence will probably stop him. if Manny had the stamina, Keith wouldve been in real jeopardy of getting stopped. what is truly separating Errol from the others right now is his size. he is a phenomenal athlete. the boxing skills and awkwardness will bother him though and no one really has enough of that except Manny and he doesnt have the stamina.

Lampley's genius is in his narration of the fight. He could frame perspectives and assess the emotional temperament of a fight better than anyone. Lampley's draw back was that he would get excited at the wrong time for something that usually didn't happen; he pretty much tried to force the crowd to feel things at the wrong time. I think Cosell was better at that than Jim, but again Jim is/was the unparalleled master narrator.

I agree with it, this the fight I’ve been wanting and curios how it plays out.

Danny is a good boxer and this will show how good spence boxing really is. I doubt Spence will try and trade, Danny has real power with both hands and this will be the biggest puncher Spence has ever faced.

I'm a fan but his skill set has been stagnant for quite some time...

Garcia is a prime example of what happens to a young fighter when he chooses to go division dumpster diving after a big win hindering his professional development...
