Calls are mounting for Mayor Adams to resign after he was indicted on federal corruption charges. In that event, Public Advocate Jumaane Williams is next in the line of succession to take over as mayor. On "Inside City Hall," Williams said he is prepping for "every eventuality."

The Democrats let him run, the people who are Democrats voted for him. He won as a Democrat, and so that is what he is labeled as because that is the party he professes to be in.

This is also a good time to remind people that "Voting Blue No Matter Who" can easily backfire, just like it has with putting him in office. Perhaps if people actually paid attention to his background, they would not have elected him into office as a Democratic Mayor.
