I'm taking about him just getting caught or clipped, he's not going to be breaking him down with strikes

Davis pressured him and was active. He didn't stand there perplexed or get foolish like most of Machida's opponents

Yes. Because Shogun pressured him. But thats one fight in a million. Stop it. Machida is not very hittable and Weidman is no where near the caliber striker Shogun is.

Not saying he did. But the mere appearance of davis being active with his striking/TD defense cause judges to give him that win since Machida like to dance around and point fight. If Weidman can do the same he will win
