Henderson Rua didn't even do 300,000 buys, Jones and Rua did less buys than both Machida fights and thats the only time he's ever headlined without Machida, where Machida's numbers are consistent no matter the opponent
Also Jones and Rampage did less than Machida v.s. Rampage

Jones should be a bigger draw but he isn't for whatever reason, machida's numbers have been consistant

I agree Machida's numbers have been consistent, but you have to consider 500k was considered low during those days when the average was 600-700k

because Edgar already beat him twice.

Thats my point. It should have bolstered this 175 card. Lets be real, for this to be their card of the year, its pretty trash. Next months Aldo card is already shaping up to be 10x better on paper

Dana thought otherwise, and these cards are on back to back nights.

I was counting on machida, having the size of advantage coming down in weight, but weidman is actually taller and a has longer reach
add age in, I don't know
I gotta feeling weidman is going to win by KO, machida didn't look impressive against mousasi, neither of them looked impressive, but then again their styles clash
