He appeals to a massive global casual fanbase. He might be the only rap they listen to, and their palette is not attuned to appreciate some grimey Alchemist shyt

Em is mainstream mainstream, and as much as we'd like him to give us that one hardcore hip-hop project, I don't see us getting more than maybe 1-2 records on the album with that feeling. The music just won't be marketable to his audience

Alchemist produced Stepdad on his last album. It was fukking terrible as expected

I watched an interview he did with Paul Rosenberg and it explained a lot of his issues. He yells cuz he suffered from tinnitus. And he does that fast rap shyt cuz he cares more about displaying his abilities as a rapper more than he does the song actually being good. Which told me he just can't be great as he once was
