fukking insane that Scram Jones ended up with a beat on this...I still am utterly shocked at that. And even more shocked that Scram basically lopped up a Cranberries sample and put some drums on it.

guys....it's this simple.
Em is and has always been a gimmicky/corny white rapper. When he first came out, we were all young and impressionable and he was new, so his gimmicks were actually intriguing and interesting to us, and he was dope on the mic from a technical aspect
Now that we are all grown and got kids of our own.....His gimmicks and the music that comes with it is just corny and unappealing to a adult living real life with real life responsibilities, and many fans are waiting and hoping to get that nostalgia feeling of that late 90s/early 00s from him, but it aint gonna ever happen. He don't have the talent nor the versatility to appeal to an older audience.
Even his most diehard fans who make excuses for him really know he's washed, they're just holding out hope.

What a stupid ass comment. Em has been getting slandered cause he's been making bad music for more than a decade and it's nothing more than that. It's 2017, and he's totally lost his ear for production, and has gone all in on the technical aspects of rapping but forgetting about the actual song-making aspects. If this was Pharoahe Monch, Talib Kweli, or Canibus making this exact album, nobody would be trying to defeat this shyt. Eminem has been making final fight scene in movie for soundtracks music for a long time, and Revival is the same thing. Put MGK, G-Eazy. or Macklemore on this, and no one would notice the difference.
What a weak album to have Mr. Porter, Scram Jones, DJ Khalil, and Hit-Boy involved. But with Alex Da Kid and Rick Rubin as the vocal point, this result should have been expected.

Just the fact it's his 10th album next he should do it with Dre. Mad $ they can make off a 10th album promo.
Best song on this album is unsurprisingly the rap songs. That Framed beat is amazing. Em needs to do a album to beats like that again. I get the rock and rock sound he goes for, but he shouldn't have any more than 2 songs with rock beats on his albums. And he had a nice run with Alex Da Kid but it's time to try someone new, Em.
The album is solid. Not great. Not bad.
