IQ doesn't really have as much to do with as many things as people place on it to be honest.

Read Barbara Oakley's books for example as she has a lot of good info in them. One of the world's brightest experts on learning (and was an Electrical Engineer).



Sometimes people who put things into simple terms in order to grasp the complex have unique relationships with the material that allows them to see things very differently. Next thing you know they make a discovery or two and then "They're a genius!" however, they don't have any more processing power than some other people. Many famous Mathematicians, scientists and Physicists were/are like this. You can even look up their background stories: many people thought they were slow/dumb. In a lot of ways this society deducts points from you for being a deep, slower thinker unfortunately.
