it's the correct answer

You think Bernie barely leading in the Democratic Party primary polls over a year out from the election is proof he's teflon against Trump and the entire right-wing media machine's attack efforts to align him with dipshyt America's deepest held boogeyman...good luck with that :francis:

They're gonna Venezuela the shyt out of his ass and he's gonna face an uphill battle against that. Bet.

funny enough, Bernie is polling high in...New Hampshire. And he's got the Bernie bro money.

Everyone else is on that slow build.

He's about to flame out cause people are calling him on his bullshyt and noting his specific lack of policy depth.

If you remember that infamous NY Daily News interview where he got called out in 2016 and he flunked the answers to those detailed questions. www.nydailynews.com/opinion/transcript-bernie-sanders-meets-news-editorial-board-article-1.2588306 This made a lot of people go...wait....this dude doesn't really have it like that.

People are tired of rhetoric.

Competence is coming back in style. Detail. Policy. Focus.

Thats why Trump's blustering bullshyt ain't gonna cut it this time.

@King Kreole what people are also forgetting is that people ain't going for that "divide the democrats" bullshyt this time.

So Sanders needs to keep his soldiers in order before the DNC snaps on his ass.

its one thing for the shyt he pulled last time (don't forget his team hacked Hillary's voter poll data BEFORE the Russians did), but they're not going to pull punches if he can't keep his people in check from attacking democrats.

The fact Trump stayed within ten points of her the entire election wasn't because of her emails. People hate Hilary. She lost to Obama cause Democrats don't like her either. She was the best candidate in 2016 (Kerry was better than Bush Jr but we know how that went) but she's not the person to bring people to the polls on a message of hope. She's a politician. The outsider beat her cause that's what people were responding to. That' s why Warren could have won. That's why Bernie was doing so well, cause he was running an outsider campaign in the Democratic primary.

On the flip I think this is going to be an ideas election. Trump for all his faults draws attention and people have been on a study diet of politics for 3 years. They're at the point that even the least political person can discuss politics in the news. Even if it’s just what’s in the headlines.

Policy will get people talking. Look at this thread for example. It was dead until “the 50k forgiveness for college loans” proposal came out and not it’s moving fast. No one even read Hillary’s policies in 2016. Everybody got caught up in slogans and bullshyt. I think people want more ideas of what will be done by a President cause they seen this idiot embarrass himself over and over again.

Democrats who don't stand for shyt deserved to be attacked on principle, but I'm not sure how smart of an electoral strategy this is for Bernie. The way Sirota and Gray Joy and even Shakir have been engaging in counterattacks on shytty Dems is righteous and fun to watch, but I don't know how much of a coalition it's building. shytting on Neera Tanden is entertaining, but it's beneath the nature of the campaign Bernie should be trying to run. I'm hoping this is just getting it out of their system early before moving on to the actual progressive campaign.

The internet has progressives believing that America is ready/accepting of socialism.:pachaha:
...its gonna be painful when gravity gets a hold of them.
Yeah the internet is a perception distorting space, but I think people are actually more in favor of certain "socialist" policies than one might assume. It's the label that people get hung up on. :yeshrug:

People love socialist policies but they're ignorant and hate when socialism is attached to it.
