Bernie cultist getting their panties in a bunch because Liz rightfully called out Bernie's M4A plan for raising taxes on the middle class
People act as though taxes are the only money that counts. While more tax money will be coming out of the paychecks of the middle class, no money will be coming out for insurance premiums. For that money you will now have access to every doctor and hospital in the country for no additional cost with vision and dental included. With the 4% tax on all income over $29,000 that Sanders is proposing, a person making $200,000 a year would pay $6,840 in additional taxes minus whatever they currently pay for their health insurance premiums. This is not a bad deal.

Although you think the world revolves around you, unfortunately there are more posters than just you and the guy you were arguing with in this thread.

This thread has been littered with people talking about Bernie for weeks.

Using your skills of curiosity to at minimum delve a little deeper rather than to type several paragraphs would serve you well in the future.

But again, as you seem to have been triggered by the post, perhaps it applies to you more than originally intended.
stop...crying. if liz keeps performing like this. this thread will be dead. what do yall really want? a place to cry and hug one another while she bows out slowly? i'm serious. lol at asking for a safe space to talk about liz as bad as her campaign is doing. and lets do it like this. if liz or her campaign drops slick comments trying to throw shots and old man bernie. we can come in her thread and discuss it. it is...liz related in that regard.

anyone that can count knows its not a bad deal. Koch bros found out we saved money, now Yale has said the same. how many more of these studies do they need?

Remember this was the same bad talking points for the ACA. and that got passed too. is it good? NO. is it wayyyy better than what we use to have? YEP.

lol at asking how much m4a will cost without asking how much will keeping the Aca as it is or expanding it will cost? yeahhh no one asks that question. its not like your premiums will stay the same year after year. they go up. so does people's deductibles, copays, emergency visit copays every year or every couple of years. i triple dare yall to do that math before asking how much will M4 A costs. find out the cost of not changing anything and carrying on how we normally do with the Aca and private insurance. then ask about M4A, and lets see which one is going to be cheaper? wait..yale just did that. so stop it.

It's a tough sell spinning $600 a month on additional taxes on someone that may not even ever go to the doctors or have health insurance in the first place. Middle class under no circumstances SHOULD not be footing the bill considering they already pay a higher rate in taxes

Everyone is going to have a health issue at some point in their life. No one knows when that will be for them. The tax guarantees you the security of knowing you won't have an unexpected expense when it happens. Even if you only care about yourself and your family this is protection for them. An insurance plan that covers everything that m4a covers would cost more than $600 per month and still have a deductible and copays.

Are you really trying to argue that Bernie Sanders would allow that to continue under his administration? He has a series of taxes on the wealthy on his website that pay for part of m4a and additional plans that he intends to implement.

:what: what you mean "am I really sure?" the man has said it out of his own mouth, he wants the middle class to contribute more to help pay for M4A. Warren says no, the wealthy and corporations should be shouldering this additional cost.

So you just on some bullshyt today, alright. :comeon:
nah bro you on some bullshyt, acting like the man ain't say what he said :dahell:

I've never said that the middle class taxes won't go up to pay for Medicare for all. Everyone's taxes would go up but the people who make the least save the most. That's the reality. You acting like it would only be on the middle class and that the wealthy would be paying nothing it a bold faced lie. If you want to talk about what Bernie Sanders said from his own mouth, he's said that the rich will pay more in taxes. He has a wealth tax that is more punitive to the rich than Warren's.

Warren's plan to pay for Medicare for all was a regressive head tax that left loopholes for corporations to slip through.
