end of the day, it’s just a game…it can’t get pregnant and come back to haunt me…already downloaded it…no harm in trying it out…if I don’t like it, I shelve it and revisit it down the line

I like the open world aspect and GRRM’s involvement had my attention initially prior to getting turned off by the potential difficulty but I’ve had a fair run at some pretty difficult games lately so I’ll see how it goes

is the game actually taking advantage of that for the PS version.

Agreed but some shyt transcend their genre . I ain’t with the “slap me until it feels good” games either but this looks to be exceptionally well made.

I also think this will be the easiest souls game just because its open world and don’t have constant skill checks. Like sekiro if you couldnt get past a boss you were done-done. In this you can probably go find something else to do in the open world

To be fair, RDR2 got a 97 and stil lost to GoW so its not 100%.

BoTW, Starfield, and Ragnarok can still put up a fight. I think new IP’s or “reboots” stand more of a shot a winning than sequels though

Everything nominated this year will have one an award before. GoW in 2018, BoTW in 2017, Sekiro in 2019, Skyrim in 2012

a $60 game isn’t a big risk anyway…worst case scenario, I play the game for a couple hours and don’t like it and annoy y’all with my complaints for a day or two before I move on to play something else lol

Yeah, I really hope this game is as good as some of these reviewers say it is, but in the back of my head, I can't discount that this is also mostly coming from people that have at least a little familiarity and enjoyment of From style games.

I don't think BOTW 2 is coming out this year tbh. GOW:R probably.
