Pinkman simply isn’t a good enough character
He was a good character during the show..But most of the lead characters were either already killed or just didn’t have a part in his story anymore.

I’m sure it was hard for Gilligan to create a whole new narrative purely based on Pinkman..without involving some of the other guys (which looked goofy sometimes in this flick)

The story woulda been much better and interesting if somehow some of the Nazis were alive

Under those extreme circumstances and paranoia he was in, it's totally understandable.

If you've been on the run for barely 24 hours after being almost completely detached from society for months, you'd believe they were real cops too.
