I take it that no one in this thread has ever done stand-up?It's been too long, he'd be trash now. Seen it before. Comedians try to come back after a long hiatus, get on stage making outdated references about shyt they never got to talk about years ago.
Eddie would probably get on stage and be like, Whatever happened to payphones? everybody gotta cell phone now, even my momma.

Depends on his writing/creative regimen but he probably has tons of material. If he does do stand-up again, he will be in an interesting position.
Will he be rusty in this format? Sure but he isn't washed by any means. A guy with his talent will never lose "it" and I think a lot of you will be surprised, if he returns.

. I've just assumed Eddie wasn't funny anymore one too many times, because its been too long since he's done standup. Only for him to then he comes out and kill something that I see him in. Not talking about the commercial,safe shyt he does.We talking about a movie like Life,and I once saw him on a bet special where he was gambling for charity,and he was roasting the hell out of other comedians and they had nothing for him. Yes these were all years ago,but you could see he doesn't need a stage to keep his mind sharp. He's just still so far of head of everybody else,he's still sharper than them
