ah yes the narrative that AAs taught the backwards West Indians and Africans that they were black :pachaha:
What if I told you Dessalines declared all Haitians black while nikkas in the US where still on plantations?
Don't even reply tho because I don't respect your opinion on these matters:pachaha:
you had people like marcus garvey using afram cultural foundation
basically as a halfway-house to cure c00nery and find blackness
for his wife and family:camby:

Stop trying to speak on Haiti stick to DR. You don't know wtf you talking about

Stenio Vincent was funding by DR High officials(they still do this today) and part of the US puppet government on the island . You keep talking about the Occupation but leave out Haiti was occupied the longest (and the most brutal). All the years haiti was occupied and controlled by America, the presidents was hand picked by the U.S and they army was destroyed and rebuild by the U.S

Besides regurgitating some info you just looked up online, what does this post have to do with ANYTHING that I've written? Specifically, what does this have to do with the sitting president of Haiti taking NO action against an attack on thousands of Haitians...not even a token action?

Also, what does this have to do with the families of the murdered people receiving NO compensation for the deaths of their family members.....even after a settlement was reached years later?

What? Stfu you the same dude that came in the China haiti thread with alot misinformation on Haiti

When the US took full control in Haiti they murdered, slaughtered, and replace the people in power (yes that include nationalist mulatos/government/ officials ). The US occupation ( deployed southern military ) change the culture in Haiti by applying they racism and the own Jim Crow laws. The French methods/culture was different compare to America, Haiti had years with blacks, white , mulattos dealing with each other.

Now you compare Trujillo, who massacre haitian(or anybody who he thought was haitian) to the haitian class in those years who lost power positions, killed, family murdered, and spend years protesting against the occupiers? Never compare Haiti to DR

The same group that initiate South America freedom...

The same government that fund Ethiopia to defeat Italy in the battle of Adwa ...

The same group that put education at top priorities for the citizens...to the point alot of the peasant class could read French

Same intellectuals that was linking up with AA and africans, with Haiti government playing a huge role with the Pan African movement early years having secret meetings and plotting. Etc

They was doing this years before the US Occupation so stop with your bullshyt.

Also DR was anti- haitians/black way before Trujillo. Him and his cronies took it to that level like they been doing now in DR in the past decades. The DR government start making the bullshyt immigration law during the period they help America invade Haiti through the border in 04 by the CIA agent "rebels" to initiate the U.N. occupation ( that still going on) and the Coup

Again, besides regurgitating some info you just read online, what does this post have to do with what I wrote?

i literally take nothing he says seriously
ebro can only speak from the perspective of a confused mulatto struggling with the decision of aligning himself more with his white or his black side. its not his fault that hes a dipshyt who is convinced hes enlightened cause of his unique upbringing. growing up in america as a mixed kid is prob a ridiculous existence to live

it dont make sense for any black person to listen to him cause hes not fully living their reality and he never has so he has no room to speak on it or address african americans

let him run his big ass mouth :yeshrug:

DR took the final step in the erasure a few years ago as they ruled to start to deport all Haitians out of the country.
I'm 100% in support of country enforcing immigration laws and securing borders. They are obligated to take care of their OWN first and foremost. I actually agree with that here also.

My beef is that when I read the actual ruling.....they're kicking Haitians out even if their families have been in DR since 1929......1929. That's ethnic cleansing.
so all the black domincans are out of DR? so what is left just the mixed/mestizo ones?

The ruling has since been amended, but in a nutshell here is what was ruled in 2013

Dominican Court’s Ruling on Citizenship Stirs Emotions in New York

The Dominican Republic has for years struggled with the question of citizenship and who is entitled to it.

For decades, the government generally bestowed citizenship on anyone born in the country except those born to diplomats or foreigners “in transit.” In the 1990s, however, there was a growing practice by civil registries to interpret all undocumented Haitians as being “in transit” regardless of how long they had lived in the country, said Roxanna Altholz, associate director of the International Human Rights Law Clinic at the University of California, Berkeley.

In 2010, the Dominican Constitution was amended to define undocumented residents as “in transit,” and the recent Constitutional Court decision retroactively applied the definition to all the undocumented parents of the children born in the country since 1929, Ms. Altholz said..

The ruling is expected to affect primarily the descendants of Haitian laborers who entered the Dominican Republic to work in its sugar industry; many of those workers were actively recruited by Dominican business interests. The Dominican government said it would provide a path to legal residency for those excluded by the court ruling.

The ruling has inflamed the historically fraught relationship between the two nations, which share the Caribbean island of Hispaniola

Don't worry, haitians that could prove their attachment to the DR were forgiven..

But unfortunately, the inmense majority of haitian inmigrants in DR came post 2010 earthquake. Haitian inmigration wasn't that much of a problem prior to that. There were already many of them before that (massive inmigration from Haiti started around the mid 90s) but it was manageable.. After the earthquake, things have gotten out of control and something needed to be done about it.

Most old dominicans grew up without seeing a haitian ever in their life, until now... DR's public services and economy have been greatly overwhelmed by the unexpected amount of poor inmigrants coming from the western part of the island.. There is no way in hell we can deal with this amount of people..

Its better to say
Dominicans are "black" only when its convenient to them:francis:

Yeah, like AAs dont go apeshyt when a person of dominican descent is successful in something where AAs are dominant claiming "not one of us".. Like with Cardi B or when Zoe Saldaña played an AA character in a movie claiming "she ain't one of us" or "she's not really black"..

But when it fits your political/social agenda, dominicans are all BLACK, even if said person has 70% european blood. And if someone dares to defy that logic, they are self hating c00ns.
