Where is this narrative that the Mavs are unbeatable in crunch time coming from? It’s fine to say you trust Luka & Kyrie more then Tatum & Brown in those situations but the reality is that 3 of the Mavs 5 losses this playoffs went down to the wire

So if the Clippers without Kawhi, OKC and Minnesota could all at least take a game off them in the clutch why are the Celtics being dismissed?
Cause that 7-8 man rotation bout to get worked to death.

A big factor in this series is the Celtics have 5 guys on the court who can give you buckets. You have to guard all 5 positions at all times. That's gonna wear on Luka and Kyrie and effect their offense.

On the flip side the Celtics only really need to guard up on 2 guys, so they'll get more rest on defense.

I think it's gonna come down to stamina. It's a long f*cking series

I don’t think picking on Luka and Kyrie is gonna work out the way people think. They’ve been playing great defense all playoffs.

In spots sure, but can they do it for 48 minutes? For 7 games?

That's gonna take a lot of physical stamina and mental toughness... so we'll see.

Thing is. Tatum playing to peak potential still wouldn’t be the best player on the court.

The lack of bench of Boston should make this quick work.

Thread title doing da most. All we needed was this

I keep reading this but who is coming off Dallas' bench that should scare the C's? Exum? Hardy? Jones? Kleber?:russ:

The best player coming off the bench is gonna be Horford or Porzingis, depending on who is starting.

As will be the case on the other side
Mavs are playing 10 deep and that’s with Hardaway Jr. on the bench

Lively
Kleber (just returned)
Green
Exum
Hardy

Lovely contributing like a start. Green making all hustle plays, playing D and hitting the corner 3’s. Exum imitating the offense when he’s in. Hardy’s a bucket, bootleg Kyrie (recklessness but effective) Kleber another body to throw at JT.

Mavs might come out flat game one but this will be wrapped up by game 6 at the latest :therethere: no diddy

Someone posted a stat that said Luka is allowing the lowest FG% against in the playoffs.

Boston has more raw talent defensively but the Mavs are MUCH better on D than they were earlier in the year.

Series could go either way. Boston should win on paper but most people trust Luka/Kyrie in the clutch whereas most folks don't trust Brown/Tatum.

A team running a 10 man rotation in the playoffs says more about their starting unit than anything :manny:
