Aside from Hov stans trolling, why yall concerned about it? 100,000,000 streams get you about 67,000 "sales." You not doing numbers in this era without a whole lot of 15-30 year olds running your songs back over and over. Nobody that age checking for a Nas album in 2023 where the only guests are

....possibly the best in genre history. He done good. Time for him to age now. After 8/11/23, Nas needs to be done with making music
15k-20k for a surprise album with no promotion from a 50 year old rapper is not as bad as the Nas haters making it out to be

I just wanted to see him get the record for most top 10 debuts for a rapper. Making history IS a big deal.
It doesn’t diminish my appreciation or enjoyment of the album whatsoever. It just would’ve been cool to see the greatest rapper of all time be number 1 for top 10 debuts. It shows that talent and QUALITY music still mean something.
But streaming by the way its counted is already against the artists anyways. It is what it is
Thing is though nobody outside the Coli care about sales or stream counts. For real when the last time you heard record sales or Billboard charts come up in real life conversation?
Snoop last album debuted at #104 and he did the Super Bowl three days after it dropped.
