I'm not a drumless guy, but Al can do a really good job of it and he mostly does here. Earl is what he is. I still enjoy his lyrics and approach. I like most of the beat selections

I would've loved an album from them from the No Idols period, but that's long gone... Lol

Off two listens, this might be my favorite Earl project. SRS was more personal but some of the production was too experimental for my liking. This hits a sweet spot

Yeah, just like the Roc Marci album...the lead single is my least favorite.

I can see this becoming one of Earl's defining projects. Earl is doing his thing with the wise words and laidback delivery and Alc is a real producer who can match the energy of the artists hes working with - like this is similar to Earls last 3 albums with the soul vapor vibes but probably more accessible to the average listener.

Sidenote I hate 3/4 time signature rap songs, they so rarely work. The track with MIKE is one, and
