Bruh... This aint 2012. They will get torched by the Warriors if the trot Wade out there at any moment.

ok, let me say this....everyone acts like the Warriors are the best team in history. :francis: the one thing that separates them is 3 - pointers. if there were no 3 -point shot, you think GSW would be dominating the Spurs, Cavs, Rockets? no. Wade can abuse GSW players because he still can post and kill it midrange. the problem is trading twos for threes. if someone on GSW gets injured they are in trouble. :comeon:

they cant beat the best teams playing small ball without the 3-point shot being a major factor. so, the key to beating the Warriors is to defend that shot. How do you do that? Well, that's why its so hard to beat them. There are some squads that have been giving them issues but just arent talented enough....like the Grizz or Jazz. athletic physical players give them issues.

also, I heard someone on the radio saying Crowder cant guard KD because KD is 7' and Crowder is 6'5". Nobody can guard KD. No one can block his shot. Thats not all there is to defense though. Remember how much problems Durant had with Tony Allen when he was in OKC? Yeah, Durant much better now, but you need someone to be physical with him and slow him down a bit. You cant stop the guy but you can make things tougher for him.

there is also a simple explanation. J.R. at this stage is better than DWade, at least in the role he provides :manny:

all around J.R. is better right now because he is younger, more athletic, and can play more minutes and is a better defender when he is supposed to be. Wade still is better at some things like pure scoring and playmaking/passing. We get enamored that DWade can still score 18ppg but that doesnt make him a better fit in the starting lineup. DWade can do more in the 2nd unit than he can in the 1st. He will be another version of Bron, seriously. Like a lot of times it will be better to have him and Bron not in at the same time because they do a lot of the same things and neither is a great spot up shooter.

Wade can post up and abuse guards and if help comes he can make the pass. He is also still very good at the drive and dish game.
yeah i agree with that. except.. he is better than JR.. just doent have JR's legs.

But by your logic they're a super team.

I didn't mean to get long-winded. That's really not my style.

How long is this supposed to go on? Every year there is a big move made to get legitimate pieces around him and every year nikkas get hyped and when he loses, which has happened more times than it hasn't, something went wrong with the players around him.

Look... He's easily a top 5 player of all time. I have no problem admitting that. I have no problem admitting he's better than Kobe.

But at what point do we stop placing the blame on everyone around him except him and start to include him as part of those teams? It's like there's this push to make him greater instead of just accepting that maybe we've reached the pinnacle of his greatness. nikkas in here are excited about how Wade is gonna come in and be that extra playmaker and shyt but if this team falls on its face like most of LeBron led teams have, then nikkas will start to point the finger at everyone else again.

I've gotten to the point where I'm way pass blaming him or the other players. I honestly think its his style of play.

so GSW is unbeatable? :comeon:

its Bron's style of play why they lost 2 of the last 3 finals? :gucci:

they are a prolific 3point shooting team. if they dont snag Draymond in the 2nd round, or anyone gets hurt, Cavs could easily have 3 titles right now.

just because Bron lost to them twice dont mean his style of play isnt conducive to winning championships. what is Boston, SAS, Houston, excuse?

GSW is just the best team overall right now. point blank.

Fam... You start talking hypotheticals about there not being a three point line.

What does that have to do with anything? I'm talking about people acting like Wade in 2017 makes any team a super team. When in reality it remains to be seen how effective he can still be in the playoffs.

Nobody points fingers at anyone else except LeBron when he loses. This dude gets legacy questions after every other game. Sure, he may be critical of his team mates at times but at the end of the day he's gonna get most of the credit and blame. Kyrie for example thought he should have received more praise while playing with LeBron. As you see with Scottie Pippen you are going to get outshined by the bigger star. Sure Pippen was a great player, but who do you think gets most of the credit? I think that's fair considering he's the best player in basketball. LeBron drive and kick game is effective when it's working. Spacing the floor with shooters is what the game has elbowed to anyway. I just don't see why pepope act like it's a crime that the Cavs are designed to play to their best player strengths.

Shots fall and sometimes they don't. You live with it.

The only people that point fingers at LeBron when his teams lose are people who aren't fans.

no I am not. I am saying if someone contends with the warriors they have to shut down the 3-point shooting to some degree. what is so hard to comprehend about that? cant trade twos for threes. :snoop: GSW without that is no better than any of the other top 4 teams around. ok, put it like this....GSW doesnt go cold from 3 the year before, they have 3-chips instead of two. its basically just saying they live by the three and can easily die by it.

now, I can agree with @TheNig if you are saying his style of play isnt as effective against the Warriors...but what if SAS or Houston bump GSW off this year? Bron getting roadblocked by the Warriors dont mean someone else will. the year the Cavs won, OKC almost got there. anyone can tell you, OKC hero ball wouldve been less likely to succeed against Cavs than GSW style of play

anyway, my stance on Wade is, eventually he wasnt good enough to be a great 1st option, then likewise as a 2nd. at this stage he is a great 3rd option. thats why I think he is valuable to the Cavs.

because in reality...it's not that obvious
In reality, it is that obvious.
answer this question.. once isaiah is back.. do you start JR or bench JR?.
Irrelevant, because IT won't be back for a couple of months. We can discuss that when the time comes. This is all about the structure of the team right now. It's in the team's best interests to start JR right now - whether or not Lue does is another thing altogether - he may want to experiment early on in the season to see what works. We shall see.
although wade's corner 3 is a bit underrated.... he goes through decent stretches in the corner...
Wade doesn't take enough corner 3s to go through "decent stretches". He only attempted 24 last season, 10 the season before, and 14 the season before that, really not even in the realm of being considered underrated. It seems like you're regurgitating a falsehood that @IllmaticDelta posted. Wade can't stretch the floor, it is as simple as that.
it just might be inevitable to put JR on the bench if they hope to compete against GSW.
:gucci:

Now you've really gone back to not making sense again. JR is basically the only guard they have that can (at times) play defense and shoot the 3/stretch the floor - the type of player you need in order to compete with GS.

I don't know why it's so hard for everyone NOT to see this. It's pretty straightforward. I don't know why folk have to make it harder than it needs to be. @Supreme Leader Reinscarf I'm looking at you.

The cavs made it to the finals and pulled out a game against a team that was much more talented collectively than them......cavs D was fine...just ask the teams they faced before GS.

Think squads in the finals (consecutive) ain't playin' D brehs :mjlol:
Ah, you still don't get it. No matter how many times you're told.

and wade made what 48% of those 24 last year??

i say give em 100 of those then.. might shoot them at 35-38% ..that would be decent.

and by a bit underated.. not fully underrate.. clearly said "A BIT"

I means it just might be something he can do.. but its not being used as per the way he plays..
