no I am not. I am saying if someone contends with the warriors they have to shut down the 3-point shooting to some degree. what is so hard to comprehend about that? cant trade twos for threes. :snoop: GSW without that is no better than any of the other top 4 teams around..

That doesn't make no sense at all, because if you put forth the resources to go all-out to stop the Warriors from three, then that's going to open up the middle and still give them a huge advantage over the teams that you didn't have to go all-out to stop the three on.

Durant is a career 73% finisher at the rim, on of the best in the NBA, and jumped up to an insane 80% last year with the lane opened up by his teammates' threes. Curry is a career 64% finisher at the rim, one of the best among all point guards....but not better than Livingstone, who has been finishing at 73% at the rim since he joined the Warriors, up to an incredible 79% last year. Iggy has been hitting 74% of his shots at the rim since he joined the Warriors. Klay is at 67%, Dray is at 63%. Even Zaza made 62% of his shots at the rim last year, a career high.

The Warriors are INSANELY good at the rim, and that's because the court is so wide open due to teams trying to defend the three. And that's with teams not even being able to shut down their three-point shooting. If you work even harder against the three, it will only open up the middle of the court even more. No one in the NBA can compete with a team that's making 75% of their shots at the rim, even if they don't get off their threes.

there is also a simple explanation. J.R. at this stage is better than DWade, at least in the role he provides :manny:

all around J.R. is better right now because he is younger, more athletic, and can play more minutes and is a better defender when he is supposed to be. Wade still is better at some things like pure scoring and playmaking/passing. We get enamored that DWade can still score 18ppg but that doesnt make him a better fit in the starting lineup. DWade can do more in the 2nd unit than he can in the 1st. He will be another version of Bron, seriously. Like a lot of times it will be better to have him and Bron not in at the same time because they do a lot of the same things and neither is a great spot up shooter.

Wade can post up and abuse guards and if help comes he can make the pass. He is also still very good at the drive and dish game.

GSW without that is no better than any of the other top 4 teams around. ok, put it like this....GSW doesnt go cold from 3 the year before, they have 3-chips instead of two. its basically just saying they live by the three and can easily die by it.

They’re still the best team :dead:

dont have time to watch this at the moment but is this saying that 2 pointers for 2 pointers that GSW is the best team or is it talking about all around offense, defense, efficiency, etc..?

Wade don't like he in it be on the bench...dude said he never came off the bench his career...before saying he will do what is needed to win.

yeah. they basically erased 3 point shooting from every metric and GS was still the most efficient, well rounded team

Bron is delusional and/or full of it alot of times.
:lolbron:

I can't be too hard on him, he was obviously grieving and the question no doubt brought up the feeling that he's partly responsible for his own demise, with Durant acknowledging LeBron paved the way for him to make the move to GS. His stans that agreed with his comments and tried revising history are the ones who're really delusional/full of it. The posts in that thread were mind-boggling.

coming off the bench is more of a mentality for some guys. some have a hard time getting pumped and being ready. Wade wont be looking at this as a bench role but more as him being a 6th starter. with the way they are constructed and how his game is, he is better leading the 2nd unit. also, some 6th men play more minutes than some starters. its more important, especially in postseason as to who is on the floor at the end of the games and not the beginning.

I didn't mean to get long-winded. That's really not my style.

How long is this supposed to go on? Every year there is a big move made to get legitimate pieces around him and every year nikkas get hyped and when he loses, which has happened more times than it hasn't, something went wrong with the players around him.

Look... He's easily a top 5 player of all time. I have no problem admitting that. I have no problem admitting he's better than Kobe.

But at what point do we stop placing the blame on everyone around him except him and start to include him as part of those teams? It's like there's this push to make him greater instead of just accepting that maybe we've reached the pinnacle of his greatness. nikkas in here are excited about how Wade is gonna come in and be that extra playmaker and shyt but if this team falls on its face like most of LeBron led teams have, then nikkas will start to point the finger at everyone else again.

I've gotten to the point where I'm way pass blaming him or the other players. I honestly think its his style of play.
Lol you can't be serious, or maybe you live in some alternate reality. In what world does LeBron NOT get the blame when hjs team loses? Hell, LeBron catches shots when his team wins.

Again... He only gets "blame" from haters. No one who's a fan will do that.

I know..and agree.. but he should lead the second unit while Bron leads the first... Have shooters around him... Would do him good.
