I'm sure the Rock will be back by part 11. They'll kiss and make up behind the scenes and crush the building with part 11...

Damn people will stan everything from sports teams, phones, consoles and even actors :picard:

I don't care about The Rock but it's undeniable that his involvement in Fast Five took the franchise to the next level. Fast & Furious (the fourth one) was a big deal because it re-united Paul Walker and Vin Diesel. It was basically the first F&F movie in six years, since most people didn't really count or care about Tokyo Drift, but Fast Five still doubled it's worldwide box-office.

With The Rock and eventually Statham on board it took F&F from being just a car movie to an action-adventure, superhero movie. It became a billion dollar franchise.

Of course Vin Diesel needs to get his credit for keeping the franchise alive but the feud with The Rock seems very ego based. Instead of being happy franchise moved to the next level he was upset that The Rock was getting more shine and would have a spin-off.

Fast Five had a coherent story and brought back all the characters from every movie. Rock was not solely responsible for its success stop the bullshyt

Appreciate the numbers boss. Can you now pull up Rock asking to come back? Or was that just Vin?

F9 actually at $721M now after Sunday. And it started it's run in June when a bunch of theaters were shut down. it's the 3rd highest grossing film since late 2019 when the pandemic began.

They don't need Dwayne.
