After a little reading, you're be right about the "jewish" meaning the ethnicity and not the religion. My bad then.

But, I don't get the land purchase, the Jews owned something like less than 6% of Palestine territory...
I think what led to the creation of the Israel state is more due to the massive migration of anti-semitism fearing European Jews and holocaust survivors to Palestine : this kinda forced the hand of the UN to create the state by partitionning Palestine.
And the British didn't gave them independance, they just terminated their mandate which was becoming unpopular in GB because of anti-british terrorism by Jews and they then let the U.N. decide about Palestine's future.

Facts leading to the Termination
United Nations Partition Plan for Palestine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Land ownership figures
Mandatory Palestine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I know those are Wiki links but it seems accurate to me.

Yes, it is true that Jews owned 6% of the land -- this is frequently used by the pro-Palestine camp due to the deceptive nature of the statistic. When I say deceptive, I mean that the vast majority of the land was state-owned. When they say that Jews owned 6% of the land, they imply (without saying it explicitly) that Arabs owned 94% of the land. Its the perfect :troll:

Its also true that Arabs owned more land than Jews. Again, frequently used by the pro-Palestine camp but what they fail to mention is that the majority of land offered to Jews was undesirable desert land.

Zionism began long before the holocaust, and Jews living there were declaring independence long before the holocaust as well. And the founders were like I said, anti-theist Atheists.

In the traditional sense NO, but in the white man's sense of hey you people of color were just going to move you out of here and say this ours now , YES.

^ This argument always makes me laugh. It is pretty incredible how the pro-Palestine camp managed to exploit thousands of years of discrimination of minorities in order to convince minorities today that this is a white vs. brown issue. The amount of minority group members that actually fell for this line of thinking and began their pro-Palestine bias based off of that is incredible (and sad). They pray on the weak-minded, and there apparently many of those out there.

"Netanyahu: Nothing could imperil the world more than a nuclear-armed Iran. To understand the impact, imagine a nuclear-armed al-Qaida."

I imagine a nuclear-armed Al-Qa`idah and see Israel already.
