Unfortunate, I only recently during the last couple years increased my suit /shoe game w the help of my father and a few older dudes. .... I can't believe all the thoughts and looks I receive that I probably missed out on in the past. Why not look like a million bucks.. ?
You should have 1 expensive suit....at least.
If not at least a combo of J A Banks.. a suit from Express (if ur slim or in shape enough) or a suit from a suit store a the mall. Then a cheap suit. Ideally 1 dark blue, black grey.
As far as 88's drinking problem.. Who cares if u have dough? I recently attended a conference in vegas.

It does make a difference... not TJ Max clearance... but I basically force the cac and nikkas that work 'sorta' under me to go to Burlington Coat Factory and Mashalls and Nostrums Rack - to increase their wardrobe.. Even this lil white bytch, who has evolved from worthless cac to pretty much my down ass 'work' chick - I purchased her some Michael Kors purses n some other shyt.. Everyone should be focused on key things like - Punctuality, Presence, and coming up w new ideas.

this thread is great, but i would say it only applies to certain industries and cities. in arizona, i used to interact with a billionaire CEO who wore some slacks and dress shirts that looked to be no higher than ralph lauren quality. the COO wouldnt even wear a tie. the CFO wore polo shirts. the sales guys dressed all kinds of ways but their level of dress did not match their success or positions. there was a young dude in polo shirts and jeans who had his own office while there were old ass dudes more formally dressed in cubicles.
in modern downfall america, shyt matters less and less. i think now you are better off wearing those fancy shoes to a venture capital meeting than for a mundane day of work or even job interviews.
