There's no way you take 9 months of traveling, pre season, road trips, hotels, losing streaks, buses and not get a general disdain for your teammate at some point. It's impossible. I'm just speaking to the point of because how common this is, and how Kerr has seen how organizations deal with this, and work towards a resolution, many a time, he's got the experience to get them through this ordeal. It ain't as doom and gloom as some are making it out to be.

NBA works with the FBI. They have folks who monitor bank accounts for fraudulent activity, or who suddenly get high bank deposits. A video rep making 50k suddenly hitting 150k it's a wrap. If by some miracle they can't be found that idiot still has to file taxes and claim it.

After the gambling scandal everyone probably has extra bank account scrutiny.

They will hire a digital forensic team and likely the facility has badge codes of who had access at the time to do this. Not to mention it's probably like 5-10 folks tops who are part of the video circle.

They ass is grass. Every league now is going to change their recording policy from here on out. There will be a security member personally watching the recording of all practices, etc.

Why hasn't it happened until now? I guarantee this changes the entire video security operations of teams. Fights happen in NBA and NFL likely weekly during practices.

They could block outside email addresses, no USB drive devices connecting to servers or devices, authorized person's only access, badge readers to rooms, video taping the actual rooms of filming, etc. They totally fukked up with their greed. Clearly whoever did this knew they had lax security protocols.

Those employees aren't making NBA money and could be easily replaced at the drop of the dime, so you're not going to have the type of loyalty where they can't be easily bought. Folks always think short sighted, I agree .

But protocol is changing from here on out. And it's going to trickle to every damn league.

If you're a trainer, video guy, editor, man you know who got who pregnant, who got a mistress, who likely got a STD if you have access to their medications, who takes drugs, who got extra kids on the low, if they really broke and just flossing or who is involved in shady activity. This is BAD.
