He didn’t buy her a house, tho. He bought a house and let her stay in it. Got her to pay for (or at least contribute to) the upkeep. That’s absolutely a finesse.
She didn’t buy the house herself cuz she couldn’t afford it. By 2024, when she offered to buy it, she had her latest bag secured with Jalen Green’s kid.
You don’t need a good lawyer to defend against he-said-she-said.
She’d need to prove that he actually made that verbal agreement. And even if he did, it would be an uphill battle as people are allowed to change their minds and she’d have to prove that the agreement rose to the level of being legally binding. That’s why purchase and sales agreements are standard for home buying. At best, she’ll get to recoup the $300k she allegedly spent on the property.
