Here's where Drake fukked up and this is all because he couldn't stand to see "Like That" being a massive hit. If it wasn't a massive hit, Drake would have maybe replied with some subs somewhere and that be it. Drake's ego couldn't allow "Like That" to be ringing off everywhere.

So Drake and his team get together and over the course of 3 weeks they make "Push Ups" and they make "Family Matters".

"Push Ups" is their bait strategy. They likely already made "Family Matters" at this point and then later shot the video.

So Drake was expecting this to be a 2-record thing.

Kendrick doesn't reply right away so they get this idea for that Taylor joint which backfires but that's another story altogether.

"Euphoria" blows up the charts and the tide is shifting... Drake and his camp decide "ok now we have to push the red button"

His red button is quickly countered and now they are in panic mode because the video shoot was supposed to stomp on Kendrick

Then Kendrick doubles back with "Not Like Us" which also blows up the charts... now Drake is forced into responding quickly and that's what we have here.

Not sure what type of strategy they were using. They must've had Doc Rivers playbook or some shyt. The time to release Heart Pt 6 is right after Meet the Grahams. They had to drop it before Kendrick got another record off.
