Clearly the photo was done to try to make a point, but was in poor taste. Which is why it's being put out there.

I highly doubt he would have ever consider doing something like that now, even if he was trying to make the same exact point.

It was a faux pas, doesn't make him racist, but is being used as evidence to show the disconnect between him and the black community.
