I finally read it. Is he saying the label played games with the battle in Kendricks favor to gain leverage in a renegotiation he was trying to do with them? If so that's dirty af. Also I do feel Kendrick used bots during the battle but the least botted song the whole battle was Not Like Us. That shyt was a legit hit record. Drake gonna have to get over that shyt. If they pulled back and he wasn't hitting the same numbers, that's not playing dirty, that's him overestimating his own value. Oh I def feel u. I hated the battle overall because it felt too corporate for me. But Drake is the one who introduced that aspect back when he battled Meek. And thats why I hated that battle as well. This is why I respect Pusha more than Kendrick during his beef with Drake because he stopped that nikka in his tracks without all the corporate bullshyt he nipped that shyt in the bud.

They lowered the licensing rate on his biggest song which incentivized basically anyone with the ability to make money off music to play it nonstop (since it would only cost them a fraction of the typical price). Taking more money out his pocket than Top did

With these two points. I thought I saw if Drake sued UMG, they would in turn sue Kendrick or something like that.

With the other point I thought it was that they fired people associated with Drake and that was when all the labels were letting go of people, from what I remember.
