This shyt is wrestling. All involved are benefiting. Pusha has tons of Drake fans who had no idea who he was streaming his music which = bigger first week numbers. Drake and Kanye both have albums coming out shortly. It's all free publicity.

The narrative that Pusha somehow lost is insane, he's getting more promotion than he's ever had and he dropped a really good project. The only way you lose is if you drop trash music. Prodigy recovered after he was put on the summer jam stage, Nas recovered after the Takeover, Jay was fine after Ether, Ross was fine after the 50 beef. If you make good music you will always be supported.
Of course he killed 50 on wax. Pusha hasn't lost yet he just needs to retaliate and any loss would be on wax not in real life as you are alluding to sales and numbers... Yeah he can't loose in that regard as long as he gets eyes and ears on him.

Its an over exaggeration.

Everybody that’s being honest with themselves knows Drake is a writer, he ghostwrites for other people, wrote R&B songs for others and all that.

I’m sure he’s had verses penned for him as well but that’s the nature of the business.
I don't even really disagree with this. Just compare him to Baby Face then. Not Ice Cube:hubie:

So I just picked out a few of Hush's solo joints and had a listen to understand how a man who has done over 20 joints for Drake somehow does not have a sustainable career for himself. Unless I'm missing something do you really hear Hush in anyway on the joints mentioned? Drake is literally better than this on his worst day. Now I'm not saying he didn't have any input in the songs but let the coli tell it, this man gave up his spot to let Drake (who if what you say is true would clearly be his inferior) take all the shine? I'm sorry but no-one is that selfless no matter how much money is put on plate.

:russ:

He ain't GIVE UP a career, he MADE one out of propping up a fraud and he's paid handsomely for it. There are LOTS of artists, in every genre that play the background as a career. That doesn't mean Drake is a superior rapper. It means Drake had the look and connections to parlay child acting in a popular soap opera into a rap career.

Being dope don't mean you're ever gonna be a star because there's a lot of superficial shyt that goes into celebrity, superior talent isn't usually the determining factor. He is making more money puppeteering Drake than he ever would have trying to keep his 'spot' as a nikka who can rap good. That's not selfless, that's smart.

You think there weren't bytches that could blow Britney Spears out the water? Singing wise? Dancing wise? Being a piece of ass and following directions isn't exactly a talent or a mark of superiority.

He’s no different than Cube in this regard. They both have had someone write a little something for them, like damn near every other big artist has.

Like I said earlier, you guys are fools if you believe these multimillionaire rappers have time to write every line from their albums. Between spending money, fukking bytches, touring, and other business ventures, there is simply not enough hours in the day for them to sit at a desk writing lyrics like they did when they were up and coming broke rappers.

The same meek that’s doing time from 10, 15 year old probation sentences?

Yeah, tell the whole story.

All his arrests have been for silly, hotboy shyt, nothing major, nothing before he was a signed rapper.

His first arrest was at 18, after he'd been signed, and it was for carrying a gun in a grocery store.

Second arrest was for smoking weed in his car.

Third was for leaving the state without permission while on probation.

Fourth was for assaulting a airport worker who was trying to take his picture.

Fifth was for popping a wheelie on a dirt bike.

Exactly.

The real thing with a lot of these posters in here all aggy is they hated Drake from jump.

Before the QM shyt came out, these same nikkas was getting on Drake because he wasn't from the hood, he ain't street, he's from Canada, he writes raps for girls, he's a pop artist.

The same nikka that came out the gate rapping over Jay Dee beats and calling Phonte his favorite rapper, then they turned on him when he goes for the top spot.

Pure hate.

Now that the QM shyt came out, they are going to beat that shyt into the ground like anybody gives a fukk.

I can't wait for the day when it comes out that nikkas like Jay and Nas also got help on a lot of shyt, them nikkas might fukk around and commit that. :mjlol:

If you think two nikkas that's been rapping since the 80s has been able to keep up with every new shift in styles, flows, and beats over the last 30 years without having to have some young nikkas come in from time to time and help them catch that new wave you're buggin.
Yep, cats hated Drake from day one, the ghostwriting shyt just gave em a reason
