To be fair if all u do is watch the anime i can see how people will say Super is better then Z. Super doesn't drag shyt out like Z did and tbh the future trunks arc was just as good as any arc in Z.

Especially if u didn't watch the 2 movies the first 2 arcs would be a great watch as well.
