I just read the subs in the dubbed voices. It works for me

Ive actually gotten use to japanese goku. Fits his personality. Child like. Couldnt stand it at first tho.

They got the person voicing King Kai sounding like he's on his deathbed, but that's granddad right there so you give him something to do.

His voice actor was born in 1931 which puts him in his mid 80s, so he can't really yell like he used to.

Probably time for someone else to take the role, but it seems like the Japanese hate to change voice actors. They still got the same chick voicing Goku that voices him as a little kid in Dragonball.

So Vegeta gets his ass beat in his SSB form and isn't able to land blows on Hit. Meanwhile Goku the God is able to land blows on Hit in his BASE form.
