GT had a lot of issues but there being a consequence for people abusing the Dragonballs wasn't one of them. Even this latest Super arc shows that people don't respect the power they're playing with.

Not that I think about it, I do kind of have one other fairly big (but meta) criticism of the movie.
Even though I like it, I do feel like they're kind of recycling old villains and plot points a little TOO much. Nostalgia is cool, but there's a limit.
You have the son of an old villain (Magenta) hiring the grandson of an old villain (Dr. Hedo) to recreate an old villain (Cell). And then you have another Gohan vs. Cell fight with a transformation and costume that looks very similar to SSJ2. Even the last two movies were them just bringing back old villains (Broly and Frieza). And even in the manga they're bringing back Frieza again. They haven't really had an ORIGINAL antagonist since Beerus. There's nothing inherently wrong with bringing back old villains but they're getting close to the point where they're overplaying the nostalgia card.
Next movie I really hope they come up with an actual NEW villain, I don't want them to just revamp Cooler or something.
Also, Gotenks and Buu are the most useless characters ever. Buu especially, at least Gotenks tries. This clown Buu is always asleep when it matters.

Nah. Buu a certified goon. He's kinda OP.
Gave Moro the easy work. Buu is kinda like Beerus-lite in the sense that he would solve a lot of problems if he were more active.

They might as well say McGregor whupped Mayweathers ass cause he tagged him a few times and made him eat an uppercut. Jiren was comfortably dogwalking Goku until the plot demanded he hit MUI, and then his stamina ran out and damn near had a heart attack again
Fought Bio-Cell with a Z-Putty weakness. Gohan went SS5 without the tail.
