Well the "Resurreciton of Freeza" Arc has finally ended and we are now officially into the Real "Dragon Ball Super". The first 27 episodes was more a trip down memory lane. Yes they retold both of the new movies. But they gave small snippets of something new to come. But so far so good to me. It's just refreshing to see Dragon Ball on again. It's been 6 months since it started and we aren't even 30 episodes deep. They are saying they are going to over 100 Episodes. I'm sure we will get another tie in animated film as well before this is over. The criticism of the Animation is vaild but even in DB and DBZ the animation wasn't perfect. But it's clear some of the animation on these episodes are a little shaky.
Even Akira himself admitted something has to change. Hopefully now with a new saga we will get back on track. It hasn't been all way the bad. But some shots are clearly not up to par. I'm excited for the "Champa/Gods Saga" that comes up now. The new character look like a mix of "Dragon Ball" and "DBZ". The thought of another Saiyan and a different universe is dope and expands the Dragon Ball Mythology even more. Gohan finally realizing he must fight is great and who knows if he ends up in the God's tournament down the line. Him coming to Piccolo was Classic. Can't wait for the Universe Tournament. Also looking forward to getting the 30th anniversary book. There was an Anniversary book release years ago but this one will be way more extensive and will probably include "Super".
