Based off the Super anime, Vegeta trained with Whis first because he was weaker than Goku and needed that time to catch up. This is why Whis said it was "about time" Goku trained with Whis since Vegeta was at a comparable level now. :mindblown:

Whis said that because Vegeta would get no stronger, he needed his adversary to further fuel his fire...Vegeta was already stronger than Goku pre Whis he said, my power alone is God levels, but is it enough to beat beerus, why not his nemesis Goku, the bytch Nikka wasn't even on vegeta's radar, he already surpassed him...this was made evident when Whis saw Vegeta after his solo training and was shocked, he then offered for Vegeta to become a god of destruction...if yall was too slow to pay attention from episode 1, one of the driving points was Vegeta no longer cared about the pettiness but he would surpass Goku by any means, even then he was already stronger than, Goku, Goku needed god mode to land a hit, while level 2 Vegeta made Beerus lean back...Read in between the lines illiterate fakkit:umad:
