Krillin is the realest dude in Dragonball. He meets Goku when they’re kids and pretty much from the minute he finds out Goku is stronger, he’s Goku’s #1 fan. At no point does this man hate on Goku. He even gets killed when Picolo is looking for the Dragonball.

what happens in Z. He laces up the boots to go fight fighters way stronger than the guy who bodied the two strongest men in the world. All to hold em off till Goku got there.

same for namek, cell etc. he is constantly in spots out of his depth and he shows up and holds it down the best he can.
