no hate, but why are so many people worried about piccolo fusing? damn-near 30 of the strongest namekians just fused... and got one-shotted. :russ:

fukk is piccolo gonna do but get his ass beat too? at this point, piccolo is even less of a factor than gohan. at least with gohan, they can always plausibly tease a return to form.

would much rather they start exploring new ways to make the weak characters relevant, like when they used piccolo as a trainer for goten/trunks/gotenks. shyt, do something to shake things up (moro has been a great start, so far).

Naw fukk that. Piccolo is too raw he deserves to get stronger.

Great. Piccolo will be the Superman of Nobodies. Right after he gets that powerup you know the Saiyans will all get a powerup to surpass him. :mjcry:

I don't give a shyt as long as we get another Piccolo vs Frieza or Android 17 situation.

I hate to say it :hubie:, but what needs to happen is for Goku and Vegeta to either be killed off (at least for a while :skip: ) or at least laid up in bed sick or something so they're out of the picture for a while.

Goku and Vegeta are just way too OP at this point compared to basically everybody else. Their presence literally detracts from the other characters.

The only way for Piccolo and the other characters to REALLY get some shine is to take Goku and Vegeta out of the picture for a while so the other characters HAVE to take action. Saiyan stans will hate but I'd love to see an arc where Goku and Vegeta aren't around and the rest of the cast has to save the day.

no amount of stronger is gonna make piccolo matter in this fight. there aren't enough namekians in all 12 universes for that. bring back all the namekians freiza and vegeta killed too, and it still wouldn't matter.

and even if they do power him up, by the time the arc is over goku and vegeta's power levels will make piccolo's jump look extra, extra pedestrian (won't stop people from marking out in the moment though :russ:).

why get beat over the head with an irrelevant plot point again, just so you can say you saw it happen? give that shine to characters who actually have a chance of competing (either now or in the future).

honestly, i think the point of moro was to create an enemy goku and vegeta couldn't beat by simply powering up. if i had to guess, we're gonna see a few things before this arc is over:

- a proper introduction of ultra instinct in the manga (the manga version showed roshi using it to "fight" with jiren in the ToP)
- some unexpected characters getting some unexpected shine, due to moro's power balancing (including piccolo)
- goku and vegeta saving the day :russ:

i agree with you on goku/vegeta. between gohan, goten, trunks, kale, caulifla and cabba, they have characters who can replace them in terms of power-up potential. but it's never gonna happen. we all know that. i think the best we can hope for is the writers committing to at least giving those secondary characters more shine in meaningful ways. i'm just hoping "meaningful" doesnt mean bullshyt powerups that won't matter 1 chapter later.

:laughatpeasantry:

There's a whole universe where this happened. There's only 1 Saiyan in it. Well actually 2, but it's the same person.

I don’t get it either.

If anything they’ll highlight the new guy from Galatic Patrol as he seems to be extremely competent without using energy like Goku and Vegeta.

He was quick enough to sneak and detain both fairly easily.

At this point I'm comfortable with Piccolo's mentor/tactician role. Hit him up when you need to get your mind right and figure out a plan.

Yup, make him the best tactical mind in Universe 7. They've already got decades of groundwork to back up the claim, he's seen the strongest fighters past & present and always comes up with a detailed analysis in minutes.

It's what made Hit so popular; he lacked the raw power but possessed a unique ability which exploited weaknesses that allowed him to overcome nearly anyone. His personality was basically a clone of Piccolo.
