Black was still the best Arc and it's not even close. ToP had tons of fan service though and great moments for everyone's favorite fighter.

So what's the verdict Goku black arc or TOP arc??
I still give it to Goku black it had more of a good vs evil feel to it, while TOP was more fighting for survival.

ToP > Black saga (imo!)
Black was thisclose to being one of the GOAT DB arcs of all-time. BUT...
The power levels NEEDED to make sense during the Black saga because they were up against an almost perfectly invincible foe. Not just OP’d like Jiren. Literally invincible. And the only way to beat him was to kill him, no ring out.
It stuck out a lot more at the end when the power ups went crazy, and kinda fukked the whole story up.
Retconning the potara’s wasn’t so bad. But the random power boosts, and especially Trunks’ god ki rage boost, made no fukking sense (and makes even less sense when you see how the manga handles it).
That said... everything in Black saga up to the point when Vegeta hits the hyperbolic time chamber and Goku learns the god wave seal was
