Again, I already addressed this shyt. Vegeta lifting a heavier weight does not mean Goku couldn't lift that same weight too.

He has to train harder to keep up. Everytime he does similar training Goku passes him up.

He trains on the way to namek. So does Goku. Compare the two when they arrive. And Vegeta was stronger when he left earth

Hyperbolic time chamber is the same thing.

After cell saga all vegeta did was live off bulma and train. Didn't get ss2 without selling his soul. Meanwhile Goku got ss3 in the same timespan.

Vegeta realized he got to put in the hours to keep up

I think technically, you both might be wrong. Whis was interested in Vegeta during the Beerus/Goku fight as he watched Vegeta perceive and follow their fight when he was definitely not supposed to have been capable of doing that. That interest coupled with him seeing how hard Vegeta trains after that fight is what prompted him to ask Vegeta to become a God of Destruction and in return, he'll train Vegeta. Vegeta refusing to become a GoD and leaving his family is what made him give Whis food. In lieu of becoming a GoD. Not because of it. Whis wanted Vegeta period. The food was only after Vegetas refusal.
