Right? They always bring up Frieza and Broly as if Vegeta was ignorant of they're power when in fact he was the only one who was aware of just how strong they were. If he didnt know, he would get the classic DBZ beatdown like everyone else gets. Theres a diff between knowing your level in comparison and being hesitant and flat out being Yamcha (a bytch). He wasnt scared of Broly but he was a zealot over the Legendary Super Saiyan and the only one who truly believed in the legend. It would obviously affect him differently. It wasnt just about him being stronger. He though the dude was a God. Same thing with Beerus. No one but Vegeta knows who he is or how strong he is and they all get they ass beat. Vegeta knew exactly who he was and despite REALLY not wanting to, eventually fought him. Courage and ignorance are mutually exclusive. Cant be couragoues if you are unaware of the danger.

Yeah during the trunks era


Toonami was advertising like that, with dbz is "back" with a new super sayian. Also with the count down of days left or how many eps is left (I forgot which one was it). I used to write down countdown on my wall, had back to back eps for that saga.


still the trunks/android/cell era was long but when goku finally came back and trunks reveal himslef to him it felt special unlike the 2013-2015'ish wash anime

Bruh Toonami been doing back to back eps since the Saiyan saga. They just had breaks between each season.

stopped watching this shyt after the 3rd episode because I already saw the movie 100 times and dont feel like seeing it again with different clothes, a different background and a couple minor tweaks:francis:

we still aint get to goku fighting beerus yet?:beli:

another solid episode imo. yea it was filler but who cares, dbz had wayyyyy more filler.

plus i don't mind filler. every episode can't be a plot heavy knock down brawl. i like episodes like these. just adds and adds to the build and fleshes the characters out more.

really loving the series so far. my biggest beefs thus far would be the music (it's fine, just nowhere near as memorable or as epic as the Z score)... and also the bright, clean look everything has. not a knock on it by any means it is what it is but it lacks the "grittiness" of the other two series.

aside from that though it has been piff and i can't believe we are getting this. i didn't see BOG so this is all new to me.
