breh this is one of the rare anime shows where the english voice actors are better fits than the japanese ones.

for all we know this could have happend. we cannot rule anything out yet, maybe that is what will make vegeta turn into ss god. that has not been confirmed but i dont see him just turning into that without something being triggered, and i can see trunks death being one.

i would hope so, seems a little too obvious for them not to go that route, but the trailer gave a pretty good idea on how things are going to play out, so I doubt the plot will go in that direction

Well, it's not that there's no more SSJ, but in an interview Toriyama said there will probably be no more SSJ2 and SSJ3.

Basically because Goku realized those forms are really just extensions of SSJ that waste too much energy, so he probably won't use them anymore and will focus on mastering his regular and SSJ forms.

Look like they go out of their way to make Goku look weak so Vegeta can come and save the day. Looks like Son Goku doesn't even turn SSJ to face him, getting his ass kicked while Vegeta comes in and saves the day. Maybe Vegeta will get a MAJOR W this time. Vegeta's fatherless fans will be happy...
