:dead: @ at the arguments against public schools.
I'm a product of the public school system and I'm certain I can
bang with the best of them when it comes to critical thinking skills,
learning, memorizing etc.

The problem isn't necessarily public schools, it's the exploitation of resources
and where they're willing to send them. If you go to a poor performing school
in the inner city, your teachers are less likely :
To call your parents up when you're doing bad.
To hold parent/teacher conferences.
To have the funds for after school programs.
To have the funds for school programs period like programs
related to the arts or sciences specifically.
To have the newest books, computers, etc.
To have tutoring and programs meant to remedy problems students
might have as in they might be remedial in math, reading, writing etc.

While on the other side of the town you have a school that performs well,
the children come from more stable homes, their parents earn a decent income
and can afford to attend parent teacher conferences or more actively participate in
their student/child's life. On top of that there's transportation
in place for after school programs, tutoring on offer etc.

Even if you do succeed there's a high chance that the school didn't really prepare you
for college and beyond because the culture of high school hasn't changed much.
Many of these schools based on their location and the income of the surrounding
area are more geared towards preparing you for factory work or earning minimum wage
not necessarily being a scientist or engineer.

These are issues that need to be addressed not creating a "Hotep school for smart dummies"
that will espouse racism, homophobia, conspiracy theory and general ignorance .
I feel like people really have no idea just how complex of an issue this is especially when
you factor in the differences in education achieved, income earned, and the real barriers
to economic prosperity like loans from the bank that could've been used to purchase a home
which has real value down the line.

His own personal views that's what :dahell:
Have you ever watched his interviews breh ? He's said stuff that'd
clearly cause him to loose his job if he worked anywhere in the public school system.
