I agree with the basic premise of what he's trying to do, I cannot condemn the man for that :salute:Some of his views on education are things that had crossed my mind in my earlier 20s.

My only issues are more to do with his personal (or professional?) opinions regarding overdiagnosis of ADHD/Autism and the views on LGBT & Feminism - that would inevitably effect the children he plans to teach if he plans to insert those views into his work. What if any of the children at his school get to teen years and turn out to be gay? :mjpls:

Overall, I see no problem with his idea from a purely black perspective. If I were in his position and had the idea and plan to build a school, I'd be a little more inclusive regarding our feminist and homosexual brothers and sisters, but other than that, I have no serious problems with his plan, even his views on interracial relationships (although I'm not against interracial relationships, I understand why a pro-black person would be against them).

Of course, he could be selling us dreams, but I'd rather not shyt on the man just now, let's see where this goes.

You goofy nikkas love bringing up white people....when no one else brings them up. And no genius I didn't think I was slick, I did it intentionally.

:mjlol:

Like this scumbag doesn't have a lawsuit filed against him involving two women AND a poster on this site with an event mishap in Florida , not to mention how he (for your sake allegedly) carried himself behind the scenes. I'll leave it at that.

Never mind the fact he originally said he was gonna purchase the school in Chicago, then as I recall it switched throughout various states in the south (HUGE RED FLAG) and let's excuse the fact people called into the more recent property management (not the one in Rochester) and stated that all he did was make that video, and didn't even set up the process in regards to purchasing said property. But yeah, just throw your money at him.

Him dodging a woman on a radio show who asked a simple question about the accountability and the money situation.:mjlol:

Oh yeah, let's excuse the fact he shytted on people who DID donate to him. Even got so far as to verbally threaten supporters by stating that if they had a problem with it, they could go outside and handle it. On top of that stated the children attending his school would be better off staying with him because he didn't want them to be all "multiculturalized"

Oh and let's just forget he allegedly has a child by at least one non-black woman, and on facebook was essentially being berated for taking pics with Hispanic chicks and he late threaten the guy who brought it up.

Couldn't handle the flack he got for being with the stripper, shytted on her, called her a maggot. So he can't handle pressure when he's fukked up a relationship, but he's expected to be the head of a school. Gotcha.

Lied about how an "NBA Player" was going to help him out with the school :russ: Forgot about this one and you know it's bullshyt because it was in the text sessions with the stripper and would've at least dropped buddies first name since he didn't know she was gonna expose him.

He's had this idea since 2011 and we have YET to hear or see the following
  • Not one professor, tutor, teacher's aide or assistant that's on board with the school
  • No actually business plan as to how the school will be ran and how funds will be used to keep the facility open
  • Not one syllabus, lesson plan, curriculum, study guide, summer reading list etc. all we got was an empty "African Spirituality" statement and kept it moving.
  • How the parents can get involved, via possible field trips, extra curricular activities etc.
  • No word on an community outreach which would further cause even more intrigue and valuable press which would surely benefit him and his school in the long run.
  • Oh and no set location on where this school is actually going to be located.
If he could at least keep people informed on the process, had people on board, maybe an actual team of guys behind him utilizing his efforts, then I could see that his heart is at least in the right place.

But he doesn't.

I'm sure you've noticed how this dude has this bad of a track record, and yet I didn't even bother to bring up his laughable revisionist rhetoric concerning LGBT, Women/Feminists, Hidden Cabal Conspiracy Theory, Pseudoscience hooplah? That speaks VOLUMES of this man's character, and we've seen him in his private life to justify our criticisms of Mr. Shoemaker.

And please don't resort to that defeated "you only criticize black people/why black people gotta demand so much from other black people" conscious nikka shtick , because I assure you there's reasons why people give a guy like Jermaine "The Pan-Africanist Saul Goodman" Shoemaker the side-eye and not bro's like Geoffrey Canada.

But hey, he got a packaged softball interview on The Breakfest Club and a spot on a reality show (Bravo, no fukking less :deadmanny:) so I guess he's legit.
nikkas scared to reply to this, I guess I will have to do it then..

So what? how does any of that negate his viewpoints on education? Why are you coming up with 380427340 excuses with why we shouldn't support another black person? We are in the position we in because we are to stupid to support or collaborate with the people that are trying to help, its like as soon as someone gains some steam it has to be something wrong with them..

Those aren't excuses:Those are things he's actually done that I find faulty as fukk.

He's shown previously he does not have the character, let alone maturity of an individual I would want to run a educational institution, especially one geared towards younger males.

And again, this recent fundraiser isn't even his first one, he's literally been collecting money since 2011. By 2013 if this nikka had a shred of integrity or tact he could've just went "Ok, I'm not raising the amount of money needed for this institution, maybe I should start small etc." But no, just the same old fallacy, scare tactics, and half-truths speakers of his ilk have been doing since the 1800's.

Let me clarify this right now: This has nothing to do with me being against the idea of all black programs or institutions (seeing as how I was in one myself) for education and community prosperity, but this has to do with people like Umar who have shown, how fraudulent and untrustworthy they are. Because in his case, he's blowing smoke and essentially ripping off OTHER BLACK PEOPLE.

But hey, he spoke some obvious points about the educational system and the typical, covert, borderline politically correct anti-gay rhetoric that's appealing well-read morons.

Speaking of which, should I send my money to the school being built in Rochester or in Louisiana?
