No... The majority of black families cannot afford it. I really doubt a lot of you posters even hang around black people, or be around the ones who need the most assistance. And Umar has not provided any solutions at all..... He is getting paid for rhetoric and solicits donations for his "vision" which is still clouded in mystery after 3 years.

Bruh I'm Mechanicsville every week...im in SWAT/Delowe/Stanton Rd every week ....Im in a black city and I involve myself everyday in the community. I'm from Carol City, ain't nobody hanging around black ppl any more than I am.

nikkas got money for Jordan's, KD's and hover boards. We spend $1 trillion a year but we broke? Stop. Yes there are families who are struggling but there are plenty families that are doing better than what you think they are. They just prioritize their money for the short term gratification instead of the long term.

And you keep deflecting so I'll answer the original question for you. You ain't doing anything to help the situation. Thats what I gather from your responses.

Which situation are you referring too? The fact that you brought up that trillion dollar number lets me know you aint doing your homework. That's not aggregate wealth...... Most of that is money tied up in mortgages, car loans, student loans, etc....... spending money =/= buying power

The situation is very specific and I keep bringing it up and you keep deflecting so I'll ask one last time.

The situation is black ppl are being miseducated in the current school system. What is your solution? You say we can't afford to pay for private school. What solution do you have?

And on a grander scale, what if anything are you doing to help the community? Anything. Any area. Any specific work you do or support you give to black businesses and organizations that focus on building the economy in the black community within America?

See... Yall talk in very clichéd, broad, hotep style catch phrases...... You say black people are being miseducated in public schools.... I'll ask in what way?

History? That's a given. Literature? :ehh: Reading, Writing, Math, Science is universal. The methodology used in public school systems are outdated, but that effects white kids as well....

So since you on your soap box..... what are we being miseducated about in the public school system... Gonna need specifics to get to a solution... :krs:

I suppose that would depend on the cost of the school.

There are many people who can afford or scrimp for a $200 pair of shoes. That is nothing compared to $15,000 a year in tuition per child. I'm just guessing that is how much private schools cost these days, when my siblings and I were in school it was $10,000 a year, plus uniforms, plus books, plus media and rec fees, plus those extra fundraisers that they make you feel obligated to contribute to.

If Umar Johnson can run a private school on $200 a year tuition per child then props to him. I would love to see how those numbers work out. It's probably possible with a hefty endowment.

You know, if he started an after school program or a summer camp then maybe that $200 a year would work and he would be able to establish the credibility he seems to be lacking. He could also use that as an avenue to raise funds if he is really serious about this.

The low end in Bham for private elementary is going to run about 8k a year... There are some cheaper, but there are religion themed..... Still good schools though...

The fact that the poster equates buying a few trinkets to being able to annually afford private tuition is a sign that he's not thinking clearly

:comeon:

Stop.

This should not even be a topic for debate. You do not send your kids to be educated in a hostile environment created by your enemies. The solution is to have your own schools and to homeschool.

However, that can be accomplished without the help of an arrogant man who smells like hustle and seems to lack business acumen.

I'm far from a Hotep nikka... I shyt on those nikkas all the time. But they're just like you, arguing just to argue with no real point or solution.

Now I know you're a paid time waster because you keep deflecting. White kids are miseducated as well but they have a fail safe system called white supremacy that will make sure they get every advantage over us.

History is a given...but as you just admitted to and Dr Kabba has spoke on repeatedly, the whole way of teaching all subjects is not natural to learning. And the setting doesn't allow for proper learning to take place, as the person you're attacking said in the video.

Dude just say I don't know how and I don't care to do anything because I don't think it will help me right now.

What are you doing is my question? Answer that and I'll entertain the minor shyt you're talking bout. Because I'm very well versed in what you think you know.

Exactly that is like saying since a person put 1k down on a 12k car they got 30k to put down on a 300k house......lol.

:usure:

Here's the reality..... the overwhelming black populous has been and will forever be educated by public institutions..... The majority of accomplished black professionals, elites, athletes had a public education...........

and chill with the enemy talk........ Do you and yours work for the enemy? Or do you just align with the enemies' capitalistic values and adjust your life accordingly?

See I respect that...you brought forth a tangible solution.

I think a school tuition of $200 a month can be done and if he's able to do it then props to him.

The problem I have is we have c00ns talking down as if the school is built, numbers have been provided and all that. We don't know until it gets to that point. We won't ever know unless the goal to buy the school is reached first. My thing is let's get that done, attach our dollars with those requests and make shyt happen. If he can't do it or you think he can't, you and other black ppl in your area do it to your wishes.

But I feel you. I think the summer camp with the same goal in mind would be cool too.

When it comes to his credibility I hear that criticism too but like I said we don't ask of these things when it comes to white folks who teach our kids or take our money so we should pull back some on attacking a brother's character publicly. Especially when it has nothing to do with the project he's trying to complete. Thats all I was saying to a couple dudes in here.

Respect.

What I do, have done, and will do is of no regard to this discussion....... because its not done for props or self aggrandizing..... you speak on current teaching practices not being natural to learning..... but the public school systems have bore great fruit........ plenty of it.... the age that we live in has made the practices outdated..... you're referring to a model that's been in place for over a century(damn near globally) and has worked well for the most part....

I asked specifically what were the kids being miseducated about. You came back with the teaching methods are not natural...... :dahell: but yet, plenty of kids still graduate and go off to higher learning facilities.....

Isn't black college enrollment at all time high right now.......:sas1: or is college a tool of the enemy too? :sas2:
